Operation: Lunar Urgency
An Armory Airsoft Orbital Event

Location: Aristoteles Crater, Mare Frigoris, The Moon
Age Requirements: 18+
Cost: $20.00 Per Player
*This is a Military Simulation event, all players who are under the age of 18 must have a veteran player vouch for them; in order to be allowed on the field.

Briefing: 10:30 AM EST
Game Start: 11:00 AM EST
Lunar Snack: 3:00 PM EST
Game End: 8:00 PM EST
Departure Shuttle: 9:10 PM EST
Background:
On February 26, 2009, President Obama made his 2010 budget request speech. In it he supported NASA's goal to return humans to the moon by 2020.
By 2015, NASA along with several privately owned U.S. based companies announced that we would finally go back to the moon. At the same time, China had been working with it's own private industries to achieve the same goal.
Both colonization missions were carried out successfully in early 2016. Tensions arose quickly as China learned the data from previous missions proved faulty and their base was not in fact built on a lunar water supply.
The United States however, did land near a source of lunar water and quickly passed a bill through congress claiming the region as sovereign U.S. territory.
U.S. surveillance learned of a second Chinese mission to the moon which was quickly discovered to be transporting a military force to the Chinese lunar base. The United States responded by sending their own...
Forces In Play and Uniform Requirements
United States - Woodland, MARPAT, Moon-PAT, DPM, Orbital Green.
China - Soyuz Space Suit, Soylent Grey, ACU, Lunar Tri-Color, Black, Urban, Contractor*
*Contractor means Khaki Pressure Suit, black t-shirt. No exception.
*Objectives for all sides will be revealed T-Minus 48 hours to launch.
Ammunition and FPS Regulations:
Standard Rifles and Submachine Guns
- 68 FPS limit
- 1,000 rounds in any configuration. Loose BB’s are not permitted.
SAW's and Support Weapons
- 68 FPS limit
- 2500 rounds in any configuration. Loose BB’s are not permitted.
Sniper Rifles
- 92 FPS limit
- 200 rounds in any configuration. Loose BB’s are not permitted.
Engagement Limits for all Weapons
1.0 - 58.9 fps - Arms length engagement limit
59.0 - 68.9 fps - 20 foot engagement limit
69.0 - 91.9 fps – 50 foot engagement limit, bolt action or permanent* Semi-auto replicas only.
92.0+ fps - Prohibited or allowed with permission of event organizer only
*Permanent semi-auto refers to replicas that do not have full-auto fire capability, no matter how the selector switch or other user input device is manipulated.
*FPS limits have been adjusted for lunar gravity. (1/6 earth gravity)
General Information:
- All players must sign a waiver or have one on file before playing
- All minors must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian
- All players must pass a U.S. Government background check and a NASA sanctioned physical exam.
- All players must have transportation to and from the NASA Kennedy Space Center.
Waivers available at:
- Purified water and solar cells available on site.
- BB's, Green Gas, Batteries, drinks, and dehydrated meals will be for sale on site.
- Visitors or parents will be admitted for free.
- Violation of rules or regulations set down on the field is grounds for removal from lunar surface without refund.
What to Bring:
- Full eye protection – MUST BE FULL SEAL
- Satellite Phone - Highly recommended
- Spare BB’s and Batteries
- LPS (Lunar Positioning System)
- Canteen / Snacks
- Money for Lunch
- Camera (Optional)
- American Flag
- Moon Boots
