Question regarding the SAW gunners: My SAW gunner will go through 2500 rounds in under two minutes. SAWs are meant for suppressing fire so that the Riflemen can move up without taking fire. If a SAW functions as it should they Gunner will be returning for ammo every 5-10 minutes... I am wondering if you will allow SAW gunners (ones with actual guns) to carry loose ammo due to their role in covering fire.

If you're going to use 2500 rounds that quickly, you need to re-evaluate playing in anything labeled "scenario" or "milsim" as that's just the opposite. There's suppressing fire, and then there is unrealistically laying on the trigger in a fashion that is nothing similar to what would happen in a real life situation.
I'm a support gunner, and I consider myself heavy on the trigger using about 2500 rounds per half of the day. If you're going through more than that, you're simply doing it wrong.

Tex has explained anything that I would have said.
I mean, I understand the purpose of the SAW/Support Gunners/Suppressing Fire. What we want to avoid is people excessively blasting away with a full box mag AND 5,000+ rounds in a backpack/pouch...
