Big thanks to FAH/TJ@Young's!! You guys put on one hell of an event. It was my first and I absolutely had a blast. I met a lot of great people and got to work with a few. The field was fun and decently set up. The music added a great ambient feel, (and also a good navigation device for us noobs who got lost twice!) and the actors could be heard for quite awhile and it was a great addition. Thanks girls for the grub, without it would have had to make an extra trip to town. See you guys again soon!

I concur with most of the people that posted, It was a great day of peppering plastic. I have to say that it was a great scenario, I liked the field (once I figured it out), and the objectives were really kewl.
Bison kind of scared me for a bit, but we'll have the opportunity to make fun of him for years to come. We may even manufacture him a patch to wear with pride.
It was good seeing all of you that I knew, and it was great meeting all of you that I didn't. TJ, FAH guys, and the rest of tan..you guys are all kewl, and we will be back again.
Thanks to the people filming, role playing, FAH girls w/ food, hosts, and all the players for attending. I still think we should have waterboarded the hadji's. hehe j/k
thanks again.

Thanks guys for putting on such a great event. Wish I could have stayed but, mikes arm could not wait. Just hoping he can avoid surgery now. Other than that he sounds pretty good and had fun while there.
BTW who won all the great prizes?

I think over all it went well, thanks to all of you who put all the work into this!! I will work on getting the video footage that was shot, and then try to get it to someone if they want it, maybe Kustom, or something for some sort of central distribution, PM me and tell me what you think about that.
Team Immortal, I had a lot of fun running with you guys, you were great (apart from that random search party)!!! Gives me something to aspire to with the building of my team!!!
One suggestion about the field, maybe with us paying every week to play FAH could buy some rope or something to run around the boundaries of the field so that there is a definite edge for those less familiar with the terrain. I know it would be quite an undertaking, but it could save further headaches, and if it came to an issue of needing help to do it I wouldn't mind making the 10 minute trip over from my house.
THANKS EVERYONE!!!! looking forward to doing it again!!!

GREAT game FAH. It has been awhile since I have had enough brush and cover on a field to actually crawl unseen from one side to another. Great food ladies, and props for going to get more to drink, you saved a lot of thirsty men Great job tan, who were the two guys at the Mortar base that I got to and shot, they were really surprised to see me Green, great job working as a team and some great offensive pushes guys

Yeah, Cobracon, I agree about Mike's arm. I hope he's doing ok. BTW, props for Gokuu for being our EMT on the scene, it was a big help!
As far as the prizes, a lot of younger/newer players took home the AEG's, and the shotguns went out liberally. It was cool, because at the end of things, the batteries had charged and the shells were laded, allowing people to use their prizes in a game or two.
Props to the guys who fought it out with the pistols and shotties by the light of... very little in the city!
Also, how'd you guys like the fogger for adding ambiance/feel to the game?

I'm glad you all enjoyed our Jawa-esque rollplaying. Generally our goal was to do as much random shit as possible just to confuse people. And sorry to the Green team, we kind of dicked you guys. The only intel we gave you was false, and other than that we pretty much harassed the shit out of you guys. But I hope you enjoyed our performance. I know I sure did. The looks on some of your faces and your reactions to us were priceless! ;D

Yeah, it was odd having you guys take our sandbags away from us and watching you chop trees down. The tree chopping was especially baffling.

I loved the outcome of the games and the setup. I hope the roleplayers enjoyed the candy bar I gave them.

Yes, i have to say that it was a great day and a fun filled day at that. I just want to reassure everyone that we are in the process of procuring Bison a whole outfit of travel gear for when he goes to new fields. This includes: A compass, a map of michigan....just in case, I'd like to get him a map of the area that we were in.......again, just in case, I think we will pro cur him a Camel Pack for water......again in case of his long flanking expeditions, and also above all a cheap GPS. I think that should just about cover it. Anymore ideas would be greatly appreciated!!! I must say that the field was great indeed, and you were not lying when you said it was dense out there. I do love that fact that there were not a whole lot of mosquitos out there, and above all, thanks to FAH for hosting a great fun filled event, and of course to TJ at Young's in GR for the hat that i won, and of course to the 3 grilling girls that we had there. Lunch was a blast. And above all to Simon for letting us shoot it up out there on his property. See you all at the next event!!! Oh, and by the way here are the pics to the last event that was played!!!!! s135.photobucket.com/albums/q154/Tgibson_Br/Warlord%20II/?albumview=slideshow

excellent pictures Grimm, you only captured the back of my head about 4 times, but its all good, i've checked myself out in the mirror enough times.
This event was awesome, great turnout, great guns, great food (thanks laddies) and great fun. Can't wait to meet up with you guys at the next event. But i do have to say we need to over-emphasize the "NO ROBOCOP or GOD MODE" rule at the next event.
