During Zero Tolerance Week, any violation of the rules listed below will result in a two week ban. If the offender's warning level is already 50% or higher, that two week ban will become a permanent ban.
Zero Tolerance Week Rules:
- No hostile posts aimed at other members. If you're very clear about it, you're free to refer to a post as stupid. If you call the poster stupid, you're gone. If you tell the poster you hate them, you're gone. I suggest trying to be nice for a while instead.
- No newbie bashing. If someone needs to have their grammar corrected or be told to do a search, let a mod do it. Way too many newbies come here without ever learning how to act, and get dog-piled on for their mistakes. They deserve a chance to straighten up without having ten people kick them while they're down.
- No necroposting.
- No trolling. Yes, trolling is subjective, but it's not subtle. If your thread is just there to see who gets angry about it, you're gone. If it's intended to generate actual discussion, you're fine, even if someone decides to try to ruin it later. Speaking of which...
- No thread crapping. Don't post to a thread just to ridicule it or divert the discussion with your allegedly hilarious image. "You fail" will get zero tolerance. Turning a discussion of a bad replica into a discussion of homosexual acts with your teammates will get you banned. Keep that stuff to your team forum, folks.
- No trying to game the system. Don't make extra accounts so you can flame during ZTW and get away with it. Don't act like you didn't know you were being obnoxious. If you aren't up to the task of meaning well and behaving well, then we kindly suggest you stop posting.
