For the weapon "drops" I was thinking of having pre-defined locations that everyone knows, but the ref(s) would put a weapon there and take them away/move them randomly, or allow zombies to do that.
It would be easier and less confusing if only the ref(s) moved weapons, but it could still work with zombies and would add something for them to do.
That way the human team can continue to look for weapons throughout the game. If someone has a weapon already they can't be sure how much ammo is in it, so they might want to trade for a fresh weapon.
Next time I'm out there (Wed), i'll be sure to bring a shotty and pistols.

Don't get me wrong that does sound sweet. Makes it a lot more challenging but I don't think everyone would be as comfortable as you with letting anyone use their guns. I know I'm not, but if I'm the only one I'll just have to run back and fourth. Not that I don't trust y'all but every time vicious and I have gone there has been new people and some of them had told me how it was their first time playing airsoft. I don't trust them.
Its a good idea though, because the 2 times I actually got tagged by a zombie was when I was just coming back in from getting my gun and they'd be hiding against that back wall. Lame but fair.
I just hope us humans aren't this bad when the zombie apocalyspe really does happen ha ha ha...

I've got some spring pistols and a shotgun I don't really care about, and we shouldn't have our best AEGs out there, since we are thinking pistols/shotgun only. If someone has a good GBB or shotgun they should start out with it. If no one wants to go out unarmed we can drop the weapon "drops" or have them switch, holding on to their good GBB/shotgun and simply not using it. In the end it's up to the players that are there that day. I'm just throwing out some ideas I think would work well.
If anything we want to make the zombie games more challenging and shorter. It is easy to get another zombie game going, since we do not use a lot of ammo. Having a zombie game that is too long isn't all that fun, from what I gathered last time being human was the best part.

I think a spring shotgun and pistol zombie game should come to mind?
Just let me know, I'll set it up.

Its not a trust issue more along the lines of I don't want any thing to happen to my guns and if something should happen to my guns I would like it to be my fault not some one I just met.

That's why we'd be going pistols/shotguns only. I have 4 pistols (spring) and 1 shotgun myself that I don't really care about that would work for a zombie game. Even if we just used what I brought it would still work and make it interesting with 5 or 4 unarmed players. That way we can also limit the flashlights in the game.

Do the pistols have to be spring?

I'd rather go with UTG shotties or the MK23 (a surprisingly good springer). Even spring AK47s and MP5s are relatively cheap, but it's up to the players to get some.
Out of the wholesale springers I didn't see any that are really worth it, but Shorty USA has a couple full metal springers and the full UTG line of spring guns.

I don't know for sure about the Grenade launcher but I think Devil is getting one so it should be okay. As for the SAW it would be useless as CQB is semi-auto only.

Revolving CAW is ok with us. If the SAW is SEMI auto, and shoots under 350 you are fine. But, using a SAW in a CQB field is worthless.
Thank you all for your time, Stay tuned in the events section!
Thanks,

Do the guns we use have to be springers? Can devil and I still use our 8mm gas shotguns? What about gas pistols?
Or am I missing the point. Do you mean that the springers will be the only guns hidden on the field.
