It does its job, but it isn't a great looking piece, so, if you want something that loos nice, or just something for its purpose, is all up to you. I am for both of those, so I got an Eagle Industries Modular Assault Pack, or MAP for short. They make them in OD green. www.skdtac.com/Eagle_Modular_Assault_Pack_p/eag.564.htm

That is a rather good find and I could see me buying one of those instead of a hydration carrier but only if one had MOLLE webs. Also that one beats evike's price by $5.

I would agree with that. If anything get a smoke pouch and you can fit a small gatorade bottle in there if you're like myself and don't drink a lot of water on field.

I usually just put mine on my web belt. Having it attatched to my vest doesn't work because I'll snag it on stuff so I just have it right above my ass. Works out almost better that way because I can slide it around to wherever I need it, but it stays tight enough on the belt that it doesn't slide around on it's own.

I like mine non molle version because it is slim/aerodinamically fit my back contour and it'll almost never able to get caught in thick brush/woods.

Depends on what kind of rig you are running. Camelbacks tend to not have MOLLE on them, which makes it far harder to wear a backpack style hydro carrier on your vest.

Yes, there are plenty of slings in OD... G&P makes a nice bungee sling, one-point of course. Available in black, "sand" (more like a CB IMO), OD, and maybe more. Pantac also makes a few different slings, one just like the G&P bungee sling. Also in OD. Or if you want a "real-steel" gear sling (something not made by an airsoft company), look around online. OD is a very popular color and most gear you can find in another color will also be available in OD. For pantac gear, Redwolf or WGC. Maybe one of the places in the US, but they don't have the full selection. Same with the G&P slings. For "real-steel" gear, skdtac is great, along with optactical, lapolicegear, and opsgear. And of course a Google search goes a long way: lmgtfy.com/?q=single+point+sling+OD
