Hello to all. Now that I finally have access to MIA, I can announce to everyone that we are organizing players for North West Michigan and to any one that wants to travel. We have several playing fields on private land. One field is improved. We have a Kill Barn where you are required to use low FPS in it because of the Close Quarter Combat. We are building aditional bunkers. South of the Kill Barn we built a Tactical Communication Center that is still being improved. Check out the website for pictures and a topographical map. We are in the need of sponsors. We need to purchase liability insurance for the association and to protect the private land owners where we have playing fields located at or find an organization to carry us under their insurance policy. We need to purchase airsoft guns and bb’s so that youth that do not own a gun may be able to play free of charge. We also need to purchase field props to make the sport interesting and fun, such as plywood to make bunkers, land mines that shoot baby powder and other equipment. We would eventually like to obtain golf carts, mini-van, compact car or similar vehicles to convert into tanks and armored personnel carriers to make the playing fields more fun yet safe. We are currently near LeRoy in Osceola County. If your interested then check out the below contact info and get added to our contact list. You might want to remove some of those hazardous edges and such on your Tactical Communications.... hut. I could really see someone getting injured if they hit that just right, which would be completely counter intuitive considering what you're trying to do.
Do you have any proof that you're a registered non-profit organization, or is that just a title you've dubbed upon yourself?
I wouldn't call it a Kill Barn for sake of PR. You won't get anyone to donate funds to a youth organization which has them playing in a "Kill" Barn. Also, using a rope as a means of getting up and down between two stories is an extreme hazard, and definitely shouldn't be in there. And cardboard as walls... well I don't even know what to say about that.
Also, even though you're fairly articulate and spelled well, you should hit spell check if you're writing something professionally. If a business who is considering donating funds see's the word "additional" incorrectly spelled... there's a good chance they're going to have second thoughts.
And finally, why do you feel the need to have 3 accounts on MiA? 1 which you don't use, "swampfox", 1 which you used for like a week, "swampfoxmi", and now this one...?

Using multiple accounts to get around an account ban is not allowed, but as far as just having multiple accounts? I would say that a person shouldn't. I would advise that you delete all accounts but the one you plan on using.
So long as there wasn't any harm or ill intent meant, I personally don't think there's any reason for severe punishment. Just get rid of any other accounts you may have posted with, mmmk?

As far as the other accounts, I only tried to do the Swamp Fox and it keeps telling me that I am waiting for authorization, I tried to email the administrators and all of my emails got returned because of junk email adress's. I tried again and this account went thru. Let the administrators delete the other account. I am not worried about it. I only wanted this account to advertise skirmish's. The Non profit, is both what I am going by and I plan on applying for the 501 or let if fall under my church's. Cardboard for walls, let me see you do some improvements with a $0. budget. It will work for now unless you want to buy us some plywood to use??? Were using what we can get our hands on or find from others, until it can be improved later. I dont own the land, so I am not putting very much of my own money into it. We will improve the field as time and funds allow. Swamp Fox

You still should address the issue about the "Kill Barn". And if you're not an official NPO, don't advertise as such until you truly are one, there's gotta be plenty of laws against that one.
To be honest, no wall is better than a cardboard wall. And the single most effective way to increase the amount of money you have to put into a field is by holding games there. Even a small rec game in which you charge only $5 a head will yield you enough money in order to purchase plywood or even OSB for walls.
While you might think I'm just being rude, if you took my advice, you'd see I am indeed trying to help you, but there are certain rules and guidelines which should be followed in order to be successful.

I too had to create multiple accounts when I signed up for this site a couple years ago. The first two would not send me "authentication" e-mails, no matter how many times I tried it, the third account finally worked. Never having access to the other two, I couldn't delete them, and they likely are still there. (Or they auto deleted after receiving no authentication.)
I for one am happy you are bringing organized safe airsoft into another community, and wish you the best. Several of my team members are from LeRoy, so they may be interested eventually. I am a southern WMI'er so, not sure I will be up that way much. So long as everything is on the up-and-up, I wish you the best.

I think big texas is right, you should not claim to be non-profit if your not, only because you have to show where the funds are going that are being donated. Are the checks going to be made out to "cash". I do wish you guys luck. I hope everything works out for you.

OK well I will say that it is a good idea, I for one have played on the field and in the barn it was loads of fun. There is allot of potential for the barn and the field it will just take some money and time. I also think that Swamp Fox is sincere about making it a non-profit organization. I understand the whole three accounts thing as well I have had that problem before. I do agree with Tex that there are allot of safety hazards, but they are easy fixes that again will require money. I do feel I need to point out that Tex while you have some good points you need to kind of give him a brake. Because he is new to the air-soft community, and we need to welcome him and not make him want to just flat out quit. Sorry for any grammatical errors I kind of typed this in a hurry.

While the field looks decent to play on, I see a lot of rusted metal and other hazards. I'd recommend getting your shots up to date before you end up with lock jaw.
