IT'S DONE!!!!!!! The video is currently being rendered out, and then I'll have it uploaded. If Final Cut Pro decides to be nice, it will be up in just a few hours. It clocks in at about 7:00, and I'm pretty happy with the results. I hope you all will be too.

Oh my god. That teaser video made my day. I seen the guy running down the field later in the day and was wondering if he lost his mind or if Elvis had anythign to do with it.

Oh hell no. This will quickly be posted to the armory airsoft server, on our own video player. For those who would like it now, I will have a version uploaded to the armory airsoft server for download tomorrow, until we can get a flash player set up on the site.

Audio works just fine for me, both the talking and the music. Looks great, I'll have to watch it all later as I'm going to be late for work!

Audio works for me as well... Well from one video man to another, I commend you on a job well done. And I give you a +1. The pacing was good, you kept the action moving, and you got some amazing audio bites that linked to form a good deal of events from the day, but I suppose that is a perk of filming all day. I know how painstaking it was to "tell a story" like you did, especially with the sheer amount of source vid you had, but it adds a great deal to the video. Honestly, I'm jealous. Music was good, some will whine about it, because they are punks, but I thought it was wonderfully fitting. You can't beat an orchestral soundtrack, if you have the right footage. Great video. Can't wait for Cerberus. Oh, and from the bottom of my heart, could you please upload this video to FileFront, or some such site, so I (we) can download it in all its full higher res glory? (insert: Sad puppy eyes) I for one am saddened when YouTube compresses the crap out of my videos, but I know this must be done, for obvious file size reasons. EDIT: I believe your "Video God" status trumps my, "Video Guru" status, I have nothing else to say, congrats. ;D

Ok, that's good to see it's working now. Youtube had blocked the audio when it was first uploaded for approval, but now it's all good. And I agree with Nexus, I'd like to see this in all it's full-res glory.

Thanks, Nexus. I'm glad you liked it. Yeah, because of my soundtrack choice youtube decided to block my audio. Yay copyright issues But thanks to a friend, we resolved the issue (they'll probably take it down again at some point, but I could care less. From now on all Armory Airsoft videos will be held on our own servers. As well as youtube so we can get more exposure for them, but our server as a permanent backup location. Tonight while I'm out at the local Pride festival, I'll be rendering out a hi-res (see: 1-gig or bigger) file, and then I'll have it uploaded to armoryairsoft.com, so it can be downloaded whenever. Again, thanks! And tell other people to go watch it!

I liked the video allot, great job. The ending was great with the dead guy in the tall grass.
I hope to see more like this in the future.

I didn't necessarily mean a HD video, just whatever the video was before YouTube compressed it. I assume a 7 min vid should only run a couple hundred megs at the very most, likely under 100mb. What did you do for a output format? WMV? That is fine for me.
Sorry, that is what I meant, no need to do an HD re-render for me. 1 gig is a little big to store indefinitely. The standard one is fine. Just upload to a place where we can do a "save as" if you could, thanks.

I'll have a version up soon for download. It's about 170mb, which is more manageable. It's an MP4, but I'm not happy with it so whilst at cedar point tomorrow I'll render out a better format, that's small, but a good quality.
