I've been looking everywhere, but I can't find one. I figure they must not have ever made one, but I thought I'd just ask anyways. Some of the guys that have had L96's for longer probably know for sure, or they know if the APS-2 bolt would work (methinks it won't).
It seems like I heard that some parts between the L96's and APS-2's were interchangeable before, but maybe I heard that they weren't interchangeable. I can't remember.

Because I don't like having to feel like I'm gonna poop my pants every time I pull the bolt back. I want it smooth and fast. However, since that bolt is 145 plus shipping, it's gonna be a while.

Pop the teflon bolt in there. When I put it in mine, it felt close to a stock draw.

Thor, If you want to play with a Beautiful Gas Rifle, you can use mine and I'll roll with the Maurshin 8mm shotty.

Get yourself a suppressor as well, the plume of gas that leaves the barrel when fired causes for loss of sight on the BB. The suppressor traps a lot of that, and since its an NBB, quiets the hell out of it.

I really found the gas bolt in my APS2 to be completely worthless. Leaking problems, tons of accuracy problems, and of course the plume of gas which makes it so you can't see the point of impact.

I already know how Tex feels about it, but do you think they're worth it Livonia? Or would I be better off with one of the aftermarket spring cylinders, like a PDI or something?
You'll have to forgive me since this is my first foray into upgrading spring rifles, but here's what I'm looking to get:
500+ fps decent accuracy reliability easy bolt pull
Being a lefty, I don't want to have a lot of struggle when I pull the bolt back and I don't know that I have the mechanical skill to attempt a change over like Livonia.

Well, I just dropped the OK cylinder set into my Maruzen L96 for over a year and I havent had any problems with it and it has been consistently above 500 fps for a long time. I havent used it this winter so I cant tell you if its still over 500, but when I used it before the winter it was. The only problem I had with it was the manufacturing of the cylinder itself. One of the screws wasnt properly put in, so it was sticking out too far to actually push forward and load a BB. So I have all of the OK upgraded parts in my stock cylinder and havent had any problems at all.
As for being a lefty and the pull back, I couldnt tell ya... but I dont have any trouble pulling it back while prone as a righty, and im just a little guy.
