Personal but they are extremely well mantained. I was going to sell them but no one seems to want any M4's or M16's so some people sugguested I use them as rentals instead.

- Update - Well, the summer is damn near here. I've got a few updates that need to be posted. - The grass is nearly 6 ft tall. But will most likely lose a foot once the rain or wind knocks it down (as usual). - It's Tick season folks. Sitting by the campfire at the field yesterday, I pulled one off my back... - Bring boots, Bangor without mud is like a day without sunshine... - Bring bug repellent. Mosquito's were terrible in certain areas of the field.

And to all who have never gone to this field... it's easily my favorite field in Michigan, especially now that they fixed the safety hazards which were previously there.
My hats off to the guys at Hole in the Wall for doing the right thing.

I believe wood ticks. I mean I really didn't look that closely other than to make sure it was a tick. It looked like this one, which is a wood tick. somethingscrawlinginmyhair.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/09/tickdorsalview2007-5-2.jpgWorst part was, everyone but myself and a few team mates were asleep. So I'm trying to dry myself and my BDU pants, t-shirt, socks, and boots out by the fire. So, I'm sitting there in the paintball staging area in my boxers and feel something crawling on my back. I just about flipped out until I realized what it was... Tex, thanks for the props. We've put a lot of work into the field, but we still have a long way to go on it to get it the way we want it to look and feel. My only complaint about this weekend (Midwest Sniper Cup 2008), was the fact my allergies went haywire. Probably from the pollen overdose I got from walking, playing, standing, and crawling in a giant field of grass with seed pods rag weed. I figured almost 500 mg of Clariton in a 12 hour period would work. But I was wrong... To everybody else though, the field normally has a very low toxin level including pollen. Common Michigan Outdoor Plant Toxins At Bangor Poison Ivy - Very low. Poison Oak - Very low. Poison Sumac - None. Stinging Nettle - High (Non-fatal, but irritating; goes away in 20 minutes) Pollen - Very low to very high (depends on time of year)

Canto is Correct. Wood Ticks are having one hell of a Season this year.
Personally, even when just crawling in the woods, I buy a NEW can of Tick spray. I coat my trousers and jacket and then myself with Tick spray. So far I have had NOTHING on me. I dont fuck around with ticks because I have had a few scares.

Well keep in mind...
Deer ticks are the only carrier of disease. And those suckers are nasty...I had one crawling around in my boot before.
Their smaller than wood ticks and have really distinct features.
I suggest you all do your homework before you go venture into the woods. From now on I'll be covering myself in bug spray and carrying a lighter ( to burn the bodies...not recommended, because this makes them puke into the bite) Better safe than sorry.

I had a large tick on the back of my arm after the cup, I pulled it off was not a Deer tick. I am going to dose myself in bug spray in the future.

this is why every time we been out there working on the field since mosquito/tick season began, I've brought 98.1% Deet bugspray
