Just reminding people that the dual scheduling with BDII has been cleared up if you were not aware already.

I don't even know who is going anymore. I have nothing else to say. So yeah, if you want to go; tell us here. I suppose I'll consider the sign up starting from this point.

Don't forget to tell us what side you'll be playing on.

We will be trying some new things out at Op: Watchtower. These modifications to both administration processes and game play are designed to make the event more enjoyable and hopefully make the game play more real.
First, we will be giving every player an identification card with side and rank information. These will be given to each player at sign in, and will take the place of wristbands, stamps, and other methods of proof of admittance. These will also serve as a way of keeping track of casualties for each side during the event. This way, not only can we report who won the body count, but the number of players hit will have an effect on which side wins.
The ranking system is as follows:
Private Sergeant (1 per squad or team) Lieutenant (2 per side) Commander (1 per side)
Second, we will be using a casualty collection system to keep track of point values of each side. When hit, a player will walk to a central location on the field (this will be marked on a players map) and show their identification card to a staff member, who will record it. Then the player can proceed to their respawn as normal. The number of casualties for each side will have an effect on which side wins.
Point system is as follows:
Private: 1 point Sergeant: 3 points Lieutenant: 5 points Commander: 20 points
Third, because this is a World War Two themed event, a semi auto rule will be in effect. Only limited numbers of players will have full auto capability. Those playing as a sergeant and any players using support weapons will have full auto capability, which will be indicated by a marker placed on their weapon and / or identification card. Some other players way also be considered for this. Also, any players found violating this rule will be punished at a moderators discretion, up to being removed from the event.
A roster should be up shortly.

I'll more than likely be there for this one, along with another three guys or so. Probably American forces, but I'll be sure to update you when I know for sure...

If I used my Thompson, would I be allowed to shoot full auto if I were a "private".

I think you could be classified as an officer at that point.

Authentic weapons will be considered for exceptions so long as there aren't that many. There are far more Thompsons than any Japanese replica.

Just curious, maybe I missed it, but what of multi-cam? I've got a new set comming and I'd love to get it out to a game.
