Had a chance to skirmish with my SR-16 the other day. You wouldn't believe how liberating it is to go from a P90 to something you can comfortably hold. I felt 100% more effective, and motivated.

frostee, is that APS the only gun you have? If so, what kind of upgrades do you have in it, if any?

Actually, I just received notification that USPS tried to deliver my G19 today, but I wasn't home. So, after I pick that up tomorrow I will have 2 airsoft guns. I'll probably be up half the night playing with the hop-up and trying to get ready for Saturday.

The APS2 has a PDI upgrade kit in it. Apparently it is supposed to shoot around 400fps with .3 bb's, but since I have no previous experience with airsoft guns I couldn't tell you if that's accurate. I can tell you that it seems to not like .3's (they start to go vertical after 70ft.), but it does like .43's. Percentage of hits to a man sized target past 100ft. is about 50% or less (but that's could just be my inexperience).

Thanks for the info frostee, and great choice with the G19. It's the best airsoft pistol I've owned thus far, beating out even my Western Arms SVI in terms of feel and accuracy. You shouldn't need to fiddle with the hop-up much on it, but it might be a good idea to try and run a few mags worth of BBs through the gun to break it in. Mine shot kinda wild at first, and had a strong pull to the left, but now it shoots like a dream.... Hado can vouch for how accurate the thing is. Mine seems to work best with the hop turned as low as it goes with .20 BBs.

Bigmack is going to try to bring a few people with him but he will have to leave around 2 or 3, but at least he will get in a good solid 5 hours of airsoft or so. It looks like you guys want to keep the game a GO even if we dip down below 8 players, so it is a GO.

See there guys? We don’t need numbers to have a great time out there, it was a blast, one of the better days of airsoft. Anyway ill put in my fav and most hated memories in a bit, first wana see some of yours to jog my memory (mwhaha remembers center mass shot on biggy *grins*)

yeah guys that was a great skirmish today, i think my favorite "kill" of mine was when i snuck up behind frostee. of course i probably would not have shot him if he hadnt jumped out of his sniper spot and ran
frostee i have to commend you on your great shot that you took bigmack out with. that mighty weapon of yours sure did the job

viking, that would have been awesome if our "flag retreiver" would have been successul, but eddie took care of the job anyway, although with a bit of an accident

Great game Gentlemen! That was the most fun I've had in a while and seeing Biggie get taken out with that long distance sniper shot in the first game just made things even better!

My favorite memory is of Robo's response when I lit him up at close range with my M11, my least fav would be these words I uttered "When the game starts I'm gonna rush the flag. Most definitely will be killed, but I feel like rushing, and you guys will get to see where our enemies are." Yeah it was fun, but it hurt like hell.

Got to break in my SR-16 on quite a few hapless victims.
