After discussing the business end of planning a game with my cousin, the owner of several acres, I feel its safe to post a thread. With this being the first event my cousin has hosted we are open to any and all ideas. The location of this field is at County Line and 30 mile (Putty Gut) about 2 miles south of Richmond. We have full amenities, as well as a huge bonfire pit for reminiscing after the days events. Because I do not want to jump the gun I figure this event is best suited to a rec game. To sum things up, I am looking for scenario's, Co-Hosts, even advice. I believe we can host up to 40 people possibly more. This will be a free game with a non-required hospitality donation if one were so inclined. We can have the field all day and night if a night game is desired. The field is regularly used for ATV'ing so we have walkable paths as well as heavily wooded areas and tall grass. We may have use of the barn but due to my cousins divorce they may be using the barn to store stuff until the divorce is final. So in summation I will take all ideas you may have so get PM'ing and I will update this post as things develop.
Edit: Yes a waiver is in the making, and for the life of me I cannot remember the address but I will post it as soon as I can call for it.

Do you have the exact address for the field?
Do you have all of the legal things set up (waiver wise)?
Just some things I would like cleared up before I go to an event.

He answered your question by editing his original post. Just in case you didn't see he updated instead of responded.

Well I'm down. my advice since its a rec game is to pick a day and say hey come on out were gunna play some games! As far as game types go I would just keep it simple untill you see how the field plays. Take suggestions before the game as people will see the field then.you should probably have some simple standbys incase things go sour on more complicated games, IE. capture the flag attack and defend etc. I find capture the flag based games are the easiest to have fun with. You can do just about anything with a capture the flag objective. This is my input take it or leave it. I lack event experience so your probably better off leaving it. Thats just my two cents. I happen to be big on writing so If you want to do a little more in depth scenario with some backstory lemme know and I would be more than happy to help you out. Is you need help with setup lemme know and I will see if I can make it out to lend a hand.
