Splitting it into 2 seperate times would be a waste. There are people that are going to drive 2+ hours to play at this event, there would be no point in them driving 2 hours to get to play for (As big boss pointed out) 2 1/2 hours, and then leave.
My two cents on it.

Here is what is going to happen.
Chaseman: If we did split this up in the end it would cut short the acutal play time. Are you telling me that all of RATS would show up and play if we did this?
In doing this there would wide spread chaos form all involved. Also there are people already wanting to play both sessions, which we would not alllow, cause now you are taking playing time form some else. Are you willing to pay 2 admission fees then for 2 sessions of play?
We are looking into the saturday game at this time. If it does come open what will happen is the few under 16 yr old players will be combined with the waiting list we have of right now. As of this time there is not a saturday game but as stated it is being worked on right now. There will be no double session play due to the player caps for these rec games.
Also I will need to have 100% conformation that you are attending this game no later than the Feb 14th. That way if you can not make it I can bring up players off of the waiting list and get them into this roster for play.
If you have any questions on this feel free to pm me.

No. It was a stupid idea and should never happen. Ignore this "two sessions" bologna.

It was just a suggestion guy's, no need to get snippy. It could work if the organization was set up properly. At regular op's there is a lot of down time, because we have all day. As far as the rats coming and playing 4 hours, It's about an hour drive for us nothing major. For people driving across the state it might not be the best idea. I didn't know you might be planning 2 days.

do we have a scenario, or uniforms for this yet? There will be many different game types being played here. As for uniforms you can wear what you would like to wear for this. There is not a set uniform setup for this.

Here are a few that I came up with as well as a few that we've played in there:
- Three teams, each team holds a box, you need all three boxes to obtain a code, once you get the code you call the number (Have one person bring a cell phone) when you call that number you say the code and you get the final code to a briefcase, when you get the code to the breifcase you open that up and read to the command what the document says, you read it, you win.
- Two teams, one team carries 75% of the players in the area, the smaller team (Special Forces) must enter the area of higher population and retrieve an item or a person (hostage, president, so on). They've got 30 minutes to get in and rescue until assassination is ordered and the president/marked target dies.
- Two teams, One team is a large group of almost everyone except for one or two people, two people become zombies and upon touching the other person or "Biting" them they turn other players into zombies, turned players are to act as generic as they can to fit the zombie role, this doesn't mean walking around normally and speaking perfect, this means maybe saying nothing more than "BRAINS!!!" or something as well as walking with arms straight out in zombie fashion, the team of higher population wins if they can stay alive for one hour in the zombie infested place. Also note this game is for pistols only, because AEG's would cause way to much pain should someone get happy, so preferably spring pistols and low powered weapons.
These were all I came up with, I'll think of more at the event, the first one SkyPilot did when we were at the small game and it worked out pretty good. So we might have to do that.
As far as camouflage regs go I'm not sure what they want to do for it, but it really doesn't matter, the people on your team are going to stick together.

Though I wont be attending this OP I still have my $0.02 on this.
Uniforms need to be made. It can be as simple as CAMO vs Civi's. Thats not to hard.
Here colored Tapes/Ribbons would be to hard. People are going to shoot first and look last. Friendly fire would be up the as and not to many people are fond of getting lit up nearly pointblank.
I beleive this needs some more thought before this goes threw. Let event hosters get this all figured out before they start taking player input.
This all seems to being to hell in a handbasket at the moment.

This all seems to being to hell in a handbasket at the moment. Well considring it is dark in there seeing a different colored uniform is not going to be a huge factor to identify your team. As for team member they are going to have to work together and use code words as such. This is a rec game. If people come in different load outs and such we will put people of like uniforms together and so on. This was not a huge issue when we played the first game. This is seaming as people wanting to complain about something, but to make things a little eaiser for you people that need uniforms to tell what team you are on. Every player on the roster for sundays game, Please let me know what you would be wearing as in uniform, not the color of your gear. Also I would need this for the players on the waiting list as well. Again here we are making something that is very simple, harder than it needs to be. Also rabbit, there was no confusion last time, or as you see it "hell in a handbasket"
