I would definately see that one through..or even a pistols only all day...that place just isn't big enough for aeg's IMO, unless it's like, the ultra compact stuff. I mean, honestly, You really don't need more than a pistol.

I wouldn't think pistols only would be a move toward Milsim, but whatever.

Awesome event. Twas my first CBQ, and we need to have more. I think the basement was the cat's ass, the up stairs was just to warm for me and the fact they they shut ALL the lights off once lead me to just walking with my hands on the wall because I was walking into the walls. I thought the game ran pretty smooth, late start but hey everyone has problems every once and a while so no bit deal. The split up was probably the best idea. When is the next one?
The best part by far was when I was trying to communicate with Relish with my hands and he just started making hand signals as well not knowing what the hell I was doing.

Hell pistols have the advantage, easier to work around corners and such in there. I'd rather let ppl use their AEGs and me run around like a bad ass with my 1911! Relish knows what I'm talkin bout

The upstairs may have been a bit warm, but it was perfect temp for pistols. The downstairs, well, we could have used a space heater or 2 down there, It was a bit cool down there for a heated building. Although, in teh summer, the ds will be the place to be..rememeber, hot air rises..

I'm all for a pistols and shotgun game. (6mm shotgun of course) As much as some people may think it's more MilSim, its not. It changes the game to be more productive, rather than 'I'll sit here all day with my high-cap and lay waste to anything that moves in front of me'.
Anyhow, the ANN Newscast featuring the Farmington CQC will be up shortly... waiting on youtube to process the file.

Yup yup.. Nothing like stacking up at a doorway and seeing me pull the knife, eh reaper?
I think the best quote of that Sunday game was "What the hell do you need the knife for?" followed by someone saying "Dude, he's gotten like 8 kills with it already"
lulz were had.
But yeah, Reaper you have a lot of potential, I usually don't see very many prodigies to the sport, no less someone as new as yourself, but you make the cut. Watching you work with us and doing exactly what we needed you to to help win the games was definatly something that I was impressed on. I can't wait, as Doc said, to shred more plastic with ya.

The true question is, how long did Reaper leave the glow-stick I stuck in the back of his vest??
Enemy identification... I love it.

Yeah, it was sitting in there for quite some time. But I do remember seeing him struggling to grab it.
