I really think those sniper objectives are awesome. It'll be sweet to actually cut power to the spotlights (Light Fixtures) so that the team can enter and grab their POW's back. Also, having two sort of unique "Heroes" should add another amazing aspect in the sense that when you're hunting for a sniper, which one do you shoot? I wonder how we'll designate sniper heroes, probably just get a good look at their face more or less.

You just eliminate all enemy snipers and then find out after who they were? I have nothing else to say

Well yeah, but I'm sure it earns extra points for your team in the end if you actually take the right sniper. I mean, it won't hurt to off someone else..
