Not to sound like a jackass but whats the big deal with the whole sniper conflict? Why would they have to roll with a squad? Personally I think its a great idea. It allows the experienced snipers like Livonia and Mirage to go solo or with a spotter and then it allows the newer kids, to get a feel for sniping and it gives them experience. Theirs a lot of newer kids who roll with a UTG and think their Carlos Hathcock and then they get slaughtered by a squad of guys rolling with AEGs and by having the other snipers who arnt known a better chance of surviving a firefight as theyd be with guys who have AEGs and then they can provide long range fire for the guys using the AEGs. This is how I interpreted it, it may or may not be right, but I think this is why they set it up like they did.

Well I just wish I could have some experience like what Gentner said the younger and newer kids can get experience. But thats just my opinion.

I'm certified in climbing, if I bring my gear can I get up into the tree's? Please don't. Not safe. Well I just wish I could have some experience like what Gentner said the younger and newer kids can get experience. But thats just my opinion. He's saying that the new kids should run in a squad... so you can get experience using your rifle. You will not be running solo, end of story, sorry St Joe. Not to sound like a jackass but whats the big deal with the whole sniper conflict? Why would they have to roll with a squad? Too many newbs with UTG's calling themselves snipers. If they don't want to run with a squad, they don't have to play. The rules are as previously stated. This will be a much more Mil-Sim Op. Squads and team work will be used, and enforced. If you don't work with your squad because you run off on your own, they will tell me, and I will make you sit out the game. There will only be a certain amount of snipers who may run around with just a spotter or lone wolf. They will need to have ghillie suits and simulate snipers. There is also a limit to each per team which will be determined by how many people show up. If you have a problem with the rules, I am sorry, but they are the rules. This will be Mil-Sim, not run and gun, if you can't follow the rules, please don't attend.

But like on my team i got 2 kids and they got $300 into there vsr-10's and they do have ghillie suits and we have been playing for about 4-5 years now. But i do get what your saying about noobs with sniper rifles and I do agree with it. But like if we were rolling on a team would it be considered lone wolf it they got like 25-30 yards out on the flank or....?

I'm sorry, but you chose the German team which already is full of veteran snipers. People who have $800 + into their rifle. As an american then may have an opportunity to use one as a sniper, otherwise they should act like designated marksman, 25-30yards out is quite far. I'm sorry but these rules will not change.
I suggest they bring BDU's as well as their ghillies...

Too soon. Normally half the people who say they will come don't even show up.
