Told you, you would end up selling that mag. I had a blast here, it was my first time and I will definitely be back. I wish I could have stayed longer sounds like I missed the best of the games. It was still awesome when the guy with the long hair (didn't get his name) was running around with his home made hand cannon/203 thingy.

So can someone post the rules for the 'zombie game'?
by the way, I have a few oscillating (spinning) lights I was thinking those would work better than strobes because they dont cast a constant beam of light in the same direction.
and I was thinking that the Zombies could benefit from night vision systems, not the players.

This is *really* starting to annoy me, I'll be nice about it:
Redknight, will you please, please, PLEASE start capitalizing the beginning of your sentences.
It's in the forum rules.

Turn all the lights off, and start with a certain number of zombies (usually around 1/4th of the total players), the "humans". Zombies will run around, making noises, and banged on walls, and trying to "attack" the humans. Once a human is tagged by a zombie, they go back to the Zombie spawn, and are then zombies. If a zombie is shot, depending on the game, have to run off to their spawn, and lay "dead" for 10 seconds. The way we played it last night was either last human standing, or the humans had to get an ammo crate back to their spawn. Zombie Game Type. (worked really good in the basement, will work even better upstairs) 1. if we have 30 people, 6-8 will start off as zombies. 2. There should only be about 8 people with flashlights too because if everyone has flashlights, you're better off just having the lights on. Zombies run around the facility in pitch black and try to tag the humans. The humans have as much ammo as they want, but are limited to shooting 1 bullet for every 1 second. (so theres not a shit load of unloading). When a human gets tagged or friendly fired, they eirther 1. die and are out of the game or 2. Die and become a zombie. (they also become a zombie or just die if they are tagged by a zombie depending on what game type we're playing.) Humans have objectives to eirther 1. Grabbing a ammo box and bringing it to a safe room or 2. Just try to survive. Every man for themselves. 3. Everyone has 7 rounds and has to find a ammo box with a speed loader in it to reload. Theres lots of different games that can be tried. When a zombie is shot, he drops to the ground and waits for 10 seconds, after the 10 seconds, the zombie can eirther jump up and grab somebody, or lay there and wait for some people to pass before risking getting shot again. The zombie can also call themselves out and go to a different room to respawn and get away from the humans. Humans CAN NOT STAND IN ONE SPOT FOR MORE THAN 15 SECONDS TO KEEP THE GAME MOVING. HUMANS CANNOT SPAWN CAMP THE ZOMBIES. ONCE A ZOMBIE IS SHOT, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY LEAVE THE ROOM. (within the 10-15 seconds). NO FULL AUTO ON ANY GUNS FOR SAFTY ISSUES. The lower the FPS the better too. It's a pretty amazingly fun and creepy game. Hope you guys would like to give it a shot.

thanks M.S.-ARC! Thats awesome, it sound really cool, although I disagree with no full auto for safety, I do agree that full auto would be unsporting. But damn that is a really cool idea. I have been collecting ideas for this summer when we host a LARP somewherre in the Detroit area. It will also be zombie themed with objectives except that the players will also be on teams working towards team based goals, sort of like a scavenger hunt with zombies P.s. don't worry about the detroit thing.. there will most likely be tons of cops there Texas, did you join this thread only to gripe at me and smite me? thats so sweet! I think he has a crush on me guys!! Will you please please PLEASE stop following me from thread to thread unless you have something useful and relevant to say? You are kind of like that dog I once fed, it followed me home and pooped on my lawn.... I would rather have the poop instead of your mouth at this point though. Please leave me alone, you are starting to seem like an online stalker! You only came in here griping at me, you have nothing to do with this event and you didn't post anything constructive. Your quote should be "if you can't say something useful..." *braces for the incoming smite from Tex* I hope a mod locks you out for a while, you are a serious pest!

Sorry you feel that way, but I unfortunately have gaps in my class schedule at which point I read nearly every new thread here on MiA, I am a troll, you're not special.
I'm merely asking you to abide by the forum rules, it's really not that difficult to use the shift key, and I asked very nicely without any rude remarks like you did. So please, since, you failed to on the prior post, utilize the shift key at the beginning of each sentence. It's a courtesy thing to other members of the forum.

Tex, dude stop trying to jack this guy's thread! typo's happen, deal with it! Now we are discussing an event herre, please take your OCD elsewhere, I swear you are like a Southpark character...
Anyway,Stapo, ARC and Newguy, the game idea sounds really cool, I would love to see a game like that held outdoors, with the zombie using something like nightvision for a sick advantage. what do you think? Is that a possibility in the near future as spring approaches? if it would help, I have a few sets of night vision available, I own some NGVs and a NV monocular, my team members have one NV scope and a few sets of NVGs as well if ti would be useful we could bring it all to an event.

I swear I will put you both in the corner, take it to PM and solve it. I don't want to see anymore armchair modding from anyone here. If the mods see it and it's an issue we'll cover it, and also sometimes we cover things with people via PM just because it's private.
So the next time you complain that someone is following the rules consider they may have already heard from a mod in private rather than here so it may already be taken care of.
Back to the topic.
Luke
