Hell, I'd pitch in for a bus, that would be awesome. Also, put me down for the Germans please.
lessee, 189 / 15 = 13 dollars per person, plus gas. How big is the tank and whats the fuel economy?

It's a 55 gallon tank gets about 12 miles per gallon on the low end and i forgot to mention the insurance. Unless whoever our guy is who rents it has transferable insurance TO A 15 PASSANGER BUS its an extra 14 bucks. no big deal. a buck a person but still. The big thing, and this is all on me to get taken care of, but since we're not open on sundays the rental would be considered a 2 day rental. Which would bring it up to 26 bucks a person. However that time of year is not one when the busses are in high demand and i can more then likely get it for the one day rental. so i wouldn't worry about it if i were you. so we are up to around 6 people, maybe more if i can rally more of my guys. Even if we're a few short its still no big deal.

More math to do here... 55 Gallon tank at 12 mpg = 660 miles on a full tank.
Mapquest says the distance from Royal Oak (11 mile and woodward's where the depot is at?) to Kzoo is 140 miles one way. Considering we can get 660 miles on a full tank, I assume we'll only have to pay for gas one way.
55 * $3.20 = 176 dollars which, between 15 people is 11.73 bucks per person. So, the initial bus fee, $13/person + $12/person = 25 bucks per person for the entire trip.
Sounds like a sweet deal to me. Battle Bus anyone?

Don't forget you might have to return the bus with a full tank of gas. That will add a bit to your total.

Don't forget you might have to return the bus with a full tank of gas. That will add a bit to your total. Yes the bus has to be returned with a full tank of gas and i still need to talk to my boss/my dad, Yes they are one in the same, about getting some extra mileage for free. Shouldn't be a problem since the higher up has that weekend off. But about the gas. I believe that was the extra 13 bucks a person. You get the Bus with a full tank and return it the same way. So we only pay for the gas we use. Lets just figure about 30 bucks a person. Or if you guys want to we can make it say 40 bucks a person and get some food and drinks and rent a couple world war 2 flicks to watch on the way. Also i would really like it if whoever the guy who rents the bus (puts his name on the contract) would let me park it. Sorry but on account of the circumstances anything that happens would probably end up being taken off my payroll and i can't afford that. Plus i know how to handle these things.

I'll pay up to 30, any more than that and I could save money driving my own car. If it is 30, count me in.

Right now we only have 7 or 8 for the bus. If we can get it up to 13 then We can get this down to just 30 dollars a man. If its more than that I suppose I'll just bite the bullet and pay it out. and We would probably have to meet somewhere other than the rent a car because theres no way we can park that many cars there. If some one in the area would like to offer a place to park in the area I would be happy to pick the bus up and then drive there and pick the rest of you up.
By the way one of my guys lost his Job and had to bail out on the event so bring me down to 4 men. It may be more but who knows.
