I just ordered one of these last Sunday and it still isn't here. I was wondering if anyone had any background info or where previous owners of this weapon, and would be willing to give me a little info on what the replica is like. It is my first bolt action sniper i have owned, although i have used my little brothers L96 a few times.

I had one shortly but somebody at work wanted it badly enough to give me more than I paid even after I told him where to buy it from. Pretty well built, feels like a winner. The ejecting shells are lame (unless you are reaaaalllly into realism) and it doesn't shoot very well without a good cleaning. Here is a very good review.

Well i just got mine today and my ohh my, it one powerful sucka. I can't even see the bbs come out of the end of barrel they are going to fast. the shell feature is quite realistic but a bit annoying because they fly out pretty far, they are really nice and are really shiny so easy to find if you loose them(except in the snow as i just found out i lost one i am down to 14 shells now). It takes a lot of practice and skill to use this weapon correctly but if you are a vet sniper this one will be a good choice for you, and it can be used as an assault rifle as well at a fair distance. I am personally in love with this gun and it came just in time as my ak decided it didn't like to work in the heat of combat anymore.
Pros: Looks amazing Very High Efficiency Range All metal what isn't fake wood Very Sexy Preforms like a sniper rifle double or triple its cost
Cons: Shells jam sometimes Shells hard to keep track of May not work well in CQB (haven't done CQB With it yet.)

Your opinion is worthless without facts. Measure the range and the velocity, don't just rant that your gun am bestest.
"May not work well in CQB"
Are you kidding? It's a bolt action gun!

Can be used as an assault rifle?? What the hell are you smoking, son?
Have you ever USED a high-end ($1,300+) bolt action to establish a performance comparison? That review is as much garbage as the crap spewed by 13 year olds on AirSplat.

I have nothing else to say. Using a rifle designed for long range that shoots hopefully over 350 FPS should never be used for CQB. Thats like trying to use a Walmart "Springer" shooting 150 FPS with .12's at over 250 feet outdoor. Just fails!

Remember your warning on the 18th for grammar and spelling? Have another.
What gun have you compARED it to? Define "performs". If you couldn't see the bb (as claimed in your post) how do you know ANYTHING about how it shot?

It reminds me of those reviews you see from people on ShortyUSA. I I have nothing else to say'ed a little.
Seriously though, if you want to do a review of a gun (or anything for that matter), be as objective as possible, do as much comparison to other similar guns as you can, use a chrono, do an accuracy test from a stable shooting surface, and please for the love of whatever the hell Scientologists worship, try not to write your review like those d-bags on Shorty or AirSplat. Don't write like you're a kid at Christmas, write like your seriously putting this thing through its paces. We don't want to hear, "OMG this gun is the best ever! You will be able to shoot people in the face everytime with it from 200 yards or more. The bb's come out at what must be over 500fps because I don't even see where they go, but they must be going straight out like a laser beam." None of that tells us anything because there's no objectivity or fact to go along with it.
I know you meant well, but next time slow down and take some time to be thorough. We'll all appreciate it much more, trust me. ;D

You're better off building a VSR-10 into a real steel stock, because ejecting shells are impractical.

I'd really like to get one of these to fool around with, perhaps get some legit results.

I am going to do a full review with some comparison to a L96 (its my friends he bought) and will give you a full review of this weapon on this Sunday, sorry about what i said before, but i am still a little new here. I hope that you guys can forgive me and we can move on.

I hope your friends L96 is not a UTG, because that would not be much to compare it to.

gunti222, You can't possibly do a review and compare the rifle to a TM, Tanaka, or a KJW without having one, and doing a side-by-side comparison. However, if you have a L96 Clone (UTG) and would like to compare to that, then it would be fine. I recommend that you not suggest any 'high end models' in your review unless you have one to compare. Always remember to mention the exact make and model you compared your rifle too.
A good review will be neutral, non-bashing, and equal in all points. (example: Stock vs Stock) An excellent review will let the reader decide if the rifle is right for them or not.
Any accuracy test should be done in a rifle mounting device, and indoors. Anything tested by hand, doesn't hold any value, due to the skill of the shooter.
Crono's should not be done via pop-can, the integery of the can, aluminum, where the BB structurely hit the can, etc all plays into factor and therefore is not a good test. Get a real chrono, unless you are able to determine the speed by visually seeing and BB; and only a few people can do that (just ask Knief).

The shell ejecting part really kills this rifle as the shells cost a handfull and are easy to lose.
