No lights and a limited ammount of flashlights keep the game moving good. If you can, switch me to the black team please. (if anyone wants to trade places with me)

A "zombie game" sounds cool. Yeah I don't mind being a zombie just as no one unloads on me.... Zombie Game Type. (worked really good in the basement, will work even better upstairs) 1. if we have 30 people, 6-8 will start off as zombies. 2. There should only be about 8 people with flashlights too because if everyone has flashlights, you're better off just having the lights on. Zombies run around the facility in pitch black and try to tag the humans. The humans have as much ammo as they want, but are limited to shooting 1 bullet for every 1 second. (so theres not a shit load of unloading). When a human gets tagged or friendly fired, they either 1. die and are out of the game or 2. Die and become a zombie. (they also become a zombie or just die if they are tagged by a zombie depending on what game type we're playing.) Humans have objectives to either 1. Grabbing a ammo box and bringing it to a safe room or 2. Just try to survive. Every man for themselves. 3. Everyone has 7 rounds and has to find a ammo box with a speed loader in it to reload. Theres lots of different games that can be tried. When a zombie is shot, he drops to the ground and waits for 10 seconds, after the 10 seconds, the zombie can either jump up and grab somebody, or lay there and wait for some people to pass before risking getting shot again. The zombie can also call themselves out and go to a different room to re spawn and get away from the humans. Humans CAN NOT STAND IN ONE SPOT FOR MORE THAN 15 SECONDS TO KEEP THE GAME MOVING. HUMANS CANNOT SPAWN CAMP THE ZOMBIES. ONCE A ZOMBIE IS SHOT, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY LEAVE THE ROOM. (within the 10-15 seconds). NO FULL AUTO ON ANY GUNS FOR SAFETY ISSUES. The lower the FPS the better too. It's a pretty amazingly fun and creepy game. Hope you guys would like to give it a shot. Was thinking more about it actually and I like what Silent Death has proposed and in addition maybe a couple other ideas as well. We have a team of 10 humans vs everyone else (assuming we have 30 people, we could do at least three rotations so everyone has a chance to be on the human team) and maybe have the humans start out in the back of the CQB and their objective is to escape by extracting to the exit. However we'll split them up in teams of 5 and put them in two locations (to make it more challenging) like 5 in the crate room, and 5 in the room where the dummy for the assassination/VIP is usually in. We let them go in first and then we let all the rest of the players (zombies) start walking around the rest of the CQB facility. Of course lights off, or lowest lighting possible, and let the humans have flashlights, and pretty much all the same rules of engagement that Silent Death proposed (semi auto only) only one hit to each zombie, and when the zombie player gets hit they just freeze and once the human player exits the room the zombie can resume (of course walking slowly, and acting like a Zombie and NO level 20 super fast running ZOMBIES! I have nothing else to say).... Also instead of just 7 rounds in the mag, possibly letting the human players be limited to only one mag (low cap, mid caps, and if a player only has high caps they can't have any rounds in the reservoir). I do like Silent Death's idea about how zombies, can lay down and try and grab (although I think for safety sakes so no one steps on anyone maybe avoiding that, and doing the freezing thing like I suggested) Or the zombie going back to a re-spawn point and then back in the game works as well... Oh and I also liked the idea of players starting only with 7 rounds and rushing to get an ammo box with speed loaders in it too! I think this could be pretty sweet....

But 28 Days Later zombies are so much more fun. Really though, it would be a practicallity nightmare to require zombies to walk slowly and act "like zombies." Where do you put the threshold? A better solution is to have fewer zombies who can run and jump and dive to tag the humans.
I was thinking more along the lines of last man standing wins, as opposed to trying to get out. With enough zombies, that'll essentially be impossible. And it not enough people get turned into Zombies, it could be too easy. We've already seen how a team sprinting from one end to the other can win a game in under 1 minute when their only objective is to make it from one end to the other.
I'm thinking that instead of ammo limits, which are hard to mandate, we just do pistols and shotguns only. That way we won't have to worry about people with full hicaps going to town on the zombies and making it impossible for the zombies to get to them. Then, we place some speed loaders throughout the field that the humans can reload with if they need to.
Zombies need to respawn, but I don't know about just freezing in place when they're shot. That opens them up to being shot a lot while they're frozen, especially in the dark. More realistically, we'll assign like, three different rooms as Zombie respawn rooms. Just come back in the room and head out again. That way, the Zombies can attack from all sides, but the humans may be able to hide themselves in the scuffle a bit, a la Shaun of the Dead. If the Zombies all respawn from the same place, they'll just have to follow the line of dead zombies coming out to find where the humans are. But if the Zombies are going in all different directions, you won't have that going on.

What we did for the zombie respawn was if they were shot they could either freeze or they could run away to a place with no humans and respawn. I dont think we should make it shotgun/pistol only as a way to make sure people dont over kill, the easiest and best solution we had was limit your shots to 1 per second, count "one Mississippi" shoot " "one Mississippi" shoot .... and ammo limit was not even a concern because no one even shot more then 5 rounds during the entire game. It is crazy how fast every one becomes zombies, it may start with 3 zombies but in a very shot time there is more zombies then humans, the longest game we had downstairs with 14 people was under 3 minutes and we started with 3 zombies, some times it was hard to tell who was the last man standing but it was super duper fun.

If you have the humans become "infected" (meaning if they are tagged by a zombie they become a zombie) then what do they do with their gun? They obviously can't walk around with their gun or they will still look like a human, so would people be OK with leaving their guns in one of the respawn rooms (going with Knief's idea of 3 zombie respawn rooms) for the duration of the game?
I think that would work, I just know that some people might hesitate to leave their gun unattended. But since it's such a small place I wouldn't think that would be a problem.
So I'm definitely down for some zombie games with rifles or just pistols/shotguns. Either way, ammo will have to be limited, although I don't know how I feel about 1 shot per second. I mean, if the zombies were walking, that'd be a different story. But we're going to have a bunch of zombies jumping out of the dark at people, I think they should be allowed to fire as fast as they can (on semi-auto of course). If they only get 7 shots in one mag and they blow through all of that on one zombie, well that's their problem.
Plus, the zombies have essentially infinite lives, so it should be more fun to actually give the humans a fighting chance for a bit.
