So far, nothing has been changed up stairs, but we will be working on the basement and whatever else needs to be fixed January 3rd. For darkness, it's always good to be prepared. Just bring a flashlight, weapon mounted or not, and you should be good to go.

Out of curiosity, did anything change that I need to prepare for? Like more darkness, props moved? Like knife said we do have a work day on the 3rd for our team. Expect a few things to change upstairs to help clear up some minor problems we had during the last game. We're always looking to improve things there as well but we won't tell you what changed. You'll have to discover that for yourself to add to a little excitement. The majority of the work will be downstairs though. ROSTER UPDATED. Spots are going quick. Make sure that you will attend if you sign up or there will be consequences.

Oh crap that was close, 1/11 is my girlfriends b-day, please move me and my +1 to Saturday game.
Change something with that Long dark main hallway, it was impossible to move threw with out getting shot. Also I would like to remind everyone to get a good pair of gloves, I did not have any last game and I paid dearly, I bled in 4 different spots on my hands last time.

In my opinion the long dark hallway is very possible. I think there was only one problem I heard others talking about. The wall at the end of the dark hall near the entrance was letting bbs through at the end of the event.

^ Would (plastic) armored paintball gloves do the job? They do have the finger tips exposed though, that's about it.

Those should help quite a bit. Depending on what gun, and how you grip it, your fingers should be protected for the most part. When I was in there last time, I didn't get hit in the hands at all. I'd say bringing a cup isn't a terrible idea though...

Yeah, any kind of gloves will help. You just don't want to have that much bare skin exposed. I don't really wear gloves when I play in here, but I'm also expecting to pay for it soon enough.
As for the age thing, we have made an exception or two for 15 year olds who are a couple months away from their 16th birthday. But we've made all of the exceptions we're willing to make for this game. Some of the youngsters at our last Saturday game had a ref shooting incident and had to be removed from that game. Thanks to that, we're far less likely to make exceptions and allow more kids in. We're really trying to keep these games oriented toward adults, so we're standing fast on the 16+ rule. And 14 year olds will never be allowed in, no matter how responsible you claim yourself to be. There's just too big of a difference between you and our target market.

Are you guys allowing Full-auto the next two games days? I think there was one game we played that allowed full auto besides allowing the machine pistols. I personally would rather have full auto but its not a big deal. I need to know so I can tell my +1.

For starters, we're going to do semi-only. We may experiment with some full auto, but it's really too tight in there and people end up spraying too much when you let them use full auto.

Traphic, both days FA was never allowed, outside of machine pistols. So, whoever was doing FA was breaking the rules, and when we heard it on Sunday, we cracked down on it.

Actually during the lunch break a 3v3 game was allowed to have full auto. That was it though. I'm not exactly sure though, I was using a shotgun.

Ah, that's different. I'm not sure any of the Hellfish were even there for that, so we had nothing to do with it.

Yeah me and a few others got a 3v3 full auto game on during lunch, it was fun with the small size but I think it would be horrible with 60 people in there.

Understandable, and horrible games are something we as Hellfish want to try to avoid. I cannot be sure on this but I would bet if you are going both days you could PM Hunter for a discount (is he doing that again?) as $40 for a weekend is a bit steep. While I don't personally know what will be moved/done/fixed at the build day I can guarantee that there will be changes in the basement and more than likely the upstairs.

Its not a very great challenge to hit someone 5 feet away in a CQB environment. Full auto only leads to overkilling.
