I had a great time today. I have exactly six welts from Knife and one more from Dahm. Also, besides Knife I was killed by FF in a lot of the games but I still had a blast today. I thought the shooting competition downstairs would have been fun if I wasn't gas pistol retarded but I still think it's pretty cool. I do apologize for that DeathDealer. As you came in and I tagged you once I started changing targets, but you walked right through my line of fire, probably saving the two guys behind you from death by me. My recommendation for everyone, if you're rushing a room, make the guy with the vest/most gear on go first. It's alright, I always end up being the first one rushing into an area due to the fact that I love being in the front lines and I usually don't care when I get beat up unless in the case when someone breaks the rules but that whole situation today was from the fact of me taking the hits hoping to save my team.

I had a really good time today, its always fun playing with Livonia, Oakey, King, Knife, ActionMan, Crazy Rabbit, and all you other guys whos names escape me. But to all the HellFish good job for your second game! To improve things for next time I think it would be a little bit more interesting if you shut a few more lights off. Anyways I hope you all had as much fun as I did and I will be back at some time or another.

Great game no real complaints at all. No surprise, Hellfish always put on a good game. Great playing with Blindshot and CrazyRabbit hope to see them at more games. The only suggestions I have is maybe move some of the props around for the next game just to give it a different look. It's nice having a close indoor place to go to.

Yea as mastersarge19 said the only thing remotely close to any cqb we've done was in my basement when we just started getting into airsoft which was about 5 years ago or so. So it was no surprise to me that I was probably dead more then I was alive. Not to mention this was our first full game. I doubt anyone here would remember but we were both at the first no limits game back in the summer. Both our guns crapped out after about two games and we packed up and went home but we made sure that wasnt going to be the case this time. But the game was absolutely the most fun I've had in a while, and I cannot wait for the next one. As far as any FF problems I did get FFed about twice, both of them were pretty dumb but I would say it was as much my fault as it could possibly be anyone Else's. Perhaps we can light up all the areas but keep some areas instead of pitch black, have a dimmer light at least enough to where we can distinguish camo colors. And as far as my camera goes (i was the crazy looking storm trooper on steroids in all black) the place was too dark for anything to get picked up so its basically all black and very little sound, sorry guys Oh and big thanks to santa for lettin me and mastersarge19 bum green gas off of you because im retarded and forgot to bring mine.

if people just had like two (working) magazines for their pistol they'd be fine. Or you know, don't suck.

I think we should have tryed a few games where friendly fire doesn't count. Two problems with that. 1) Then whenever anyone gets hit you spend WAY too much time trying to distinguish who actually shot you. It also leads to a lot more cheating because if someone is constantly ducking and then popping out to fire they may not see the shot hit just as you may not see them. If you don't see anyone you'd be quick to assume a teammate did it and play on... 2) Realism. We run very few games in which friendly fire is "off". Bullets don't choose their targets. If teams get a little less friendly on their triggers and confirm enemies before firing the problem wouldn't exist as much.

I had a lot of fun playing both days.
I liked the 3man target shooting. The music was fun to play in as long as people understand we can't hear them shouting they are dead if we are next to a speaker.
The bang bang didn't work a lot. We had a guy duel pistol us and we both did the "bang bang" to him cause my barrel hit his goggles. So other then that it was really fun.
There should be a rule for when people shoot eachother at the same time or close to it. I saw people saying "yea but I shot you first" I always just say both are dead but there should be a rule clearing up the grey area.

I had a great time. My lip is still swollen, but hey that's the game. I have to give the little guy with the CAW props, despite that thing malfunctioning he still kept popping out and trying to fire away. Little man, big kahones. I'll be running through the video on my helmet/gun cam to try and find anything that's not pitch black. If there's anything of interest I'll compile it and post it on youtube. I have a few suggestions... The light on that longest hallway should be turned off to help the attacking team. Yesterday the defenders could sit on the dark side and the attackers would have a light shining right in their eyes when they enter, making it a big stalemate area. For the three man shooting competition I would have liked significantly more light. There's pros and cons to using more or less light, but I would have preferred more. I wouldn't mind using the downstairs as a 3v3 shoot-house. Glowstick armbands for team recognition would be cool, but that may have an adverse effect on gameplay. I didn't have too much of a problem shooting my team, but a lot of other people did FF me. Mallard, and Lateralus just to name my favorite instances . I don't think mandatory uniforms would have helped because the games are so fast paced you can end up even shooting someone wearing the exact same uniform that you are despite having seen that person running right in front of you 10 seconds prior COUGH Lateralus COUGH. I think some people need to just slowdown a bit and IFF their targets for shooting. To the best of my knowledge I didn't shoot anyone on my team the whole day. I'm not complaining or trying to be self righteous. Just offering my $.02 Overall I had a great time and got my CQC fix in one day. Thanks Hellfish for doing a great job hosting the event.

It was my fault I failed. Didn't know he could not push the button on the 203 shells enough to reset them.... Sent the poor kid into a fire fight with no ammo We had a lot of fun and will be back for more events

What if we tryed "Less Strict" camo requirements?
What I mean by less strict is that you don't need full woodland or full acu. One team is aloud multiple combinations like woodland and black Vs. acu and tan. The teams would basically be permanent through out the whole day(Unless an exception was needed to be made to even out the teams or something of that nature). With this less strict policy you wouldn't be aloud to wear acu pants with a woodland shirt. Thats just an example but hopefully you get the idea.
Since it would be permanent it would be much more clear as to who you shooting at on the playing field. You wouldn't have to remember new colors for every game. For example; If you are on the black and woodland team, by the second or third game if you see a guy with acu on you wouldn't have to think twice about shooting him. This idea would probably work since mostly everyone has some type of camouflage.

The defending team should always have less people on their team. As a result of this we will be changing teams every game to ensure everyone has about equal time from each spawn point. The most convenient thing in the world is if we could just have 5 of each camo. This is a rec game though and we don't want to run camp restrictions.

I thought it went pretty well with Myself and Blindshot as swingers *insert jokes*. This way we could help balance out the teams.

How about permanent teams with only the smaller camo groups being the swingers. If you we're to let everyone know that those guys are the swingers and then just remind them in the ready room whose side they're on that should eliminate most FF. Although I would still have to say that with the field so dimly lit camo only plays a partial role in IFF. A lot of it is which way is that guy facing and just asking what team they're on if you're not sure.

Yea, I like what X said. Don't change who the swingers are either so you just gotta remember who they are and when they are on your team. Don't do armbands or markings. Next time ask us our camo first and that way we can plan it ahead of time.
