SFOD: Rec Game - Sept. 2nd

OMG I'm laughin my ass off over here reading this. I now understand why different color uniforms work best. Even through the scope it was rather hard to tell friendly from enemy. with all the brush and the bb's flying your way. Now you know why they call us Rats Crazyman.... Radios they are a good thing.

We are signed up as Marines for the 16th. woodland bdu's so hopefully we only have to shoot tan and desert bdu's next time.

Shit, I thought there were desert requirements for this one.. Turns out, I would have been alone if that were the case. I just figured the camo was the same as Meltdown.

Don't get me wrong, I welcome a challenge, but that'd been a slaughter! ;D

Gunman, that was me and Karafa that you came across. You got lucky I was about to shoot you but he said lets go our separate ways. But we were by no means on the enemy team.

During the game after lunch Karafa and I decided to go back to the car because we were thirsty and all that. So we hung around a lil' bit and said lets go in as snipers but be rouge. And thats exactly what we did. I got a confirmed 5 kills with my baby in maybe the 15 minutes we did that.

Oh sorry Skypilot for shooting the civilian, but it was an amazing shot you have to admit. Hope hes not that pissed at me. ;D

I have nothing else to say I do remember sitting against a tree waiting for some people to come and die so I could respawn with them and all of a sudden we see Gunman up threw the dirt trail running. Were like "Why the hell is he hauling ass back to respawn?". I just remember talking to gunman and he was saying something about being chased and someone goes "Arnt you dead?" and he just replied "NO!".

Thats when we threw on our Burger King crowns on and decided to go along with him.

HA! I remember that. I was running, and they were firing everything thay had at me, and finally someone said, "Aren't you dead yet?" I replied "NO!", and got, "you kidding, you haven't gotten hit yet?"...Me:"NOPE", and I just kept running...

Ahh the BK crowns. Good stuff. That was funny as hell to see out in the battlefield.

My guys and I had a great time. Got to meet a lot of people I didn't get to see @ BD.

There are two moments that stick out in my mind most of all for me, both of them happened during the second game. The first was when a group of my guys (green team) were slowly moving through the maze another group of freshly spawned green guys came up and we all linked together. Then we came into the red gold stash and took out the guards, we moved up and couldn't figure out how 6 of us would take 12 bars all the way to the pub through enemy held territory. Then we took some shots and decided to simply hide their gold stash in the woods until more of our guys could come up and grab it. Slowly but surely we took 6 bars and hid them behind one large tree and another 6 behind another tree on the opposite side. I ended up getting shot while in the trenches, however, I respawned in time to be in the city when nearly the entire team of greens brought in the stash we hid and deposited them in the pub.

My second favorite moment is when me and my buddy Trevor were in the second floor of the embassy waiting for an attack, Skypilot and El were moving around outside the city. Then I hear "Bang, call for a medic" from downstairs and our buddy Colin starts yelling for a medic. I decide that I should prepare for them to shoot me and duck and hide, I start seeing a shadow coming up the stairs and I press myself against the wall and draw out my M9 from my serpa... slowly I see Skypilots facemask round the corner with that shotgun pointed right at my chest... and my M9 was right at his goggles, after a moment I realize what I have pointed at my chest and my hand actually started shaking (I didn't realize at the time it wasn't shooting all that hot). All I could do was say: "Hi" and he said: "Hi". After another moments thought I replied: "Well, I realize that no matter what I'm going to lose this because I can't shoot you until you shoot me, and when you shoot me it's over." I lowered my pistol and then El comes up with his 93r pointed at me (later I learned it was set on full auto) they told us they just wanted to clear us out of the embassy so it would make the end of the game more of a challenge. ;D

All in all it was an excellent game. The scenario was excellent and kept everyone busy doing SOMETHING whether it be ambushing troops with gold, guarding gold, or protecting supply docks.

Oh yeah, and the Green Team may have kicked major ass, but in the process I think we shot at each other more than the enemy! ;D At one point we were holding the D-Day beach, relaxed for the moment after clearing out the Red guys, then this huge group of people come pouring out of the city weapons blazing. After a bit of fighting we realized that it was Green Team attacking us. We start frantically yelling "Friendly and Green Team" finally I stuck my arm out of the bunker and someone below said: "I see green! Hold fire!"

Thanks to everyone who organized and set this up. It was a great day. I wish I could make the 16th but I have been scheduled to work for 10 hours that day.

I'm glad to hear everyone had a good time. It was a blast organizing the game and making it work. My only wish was for more civilians, prehaps next time.

Pistol draw... well, everyone got three shots. I got one shot of 30, I thought that was fair.

The first like game or 2 that would have been me mike , I carried yourgods "clear" super 9 for awhile, but then decided that even my p90 had better range ;D.
We were pretty much just screwing around, trying to confuse everyone, but we didn't mean any harm to offend people or piss them off.

Dude this game was great!! You guys should have a thing where people stay over night so we canhave some night games! I had fun sticking around playing after dark with SFOD, even though it was only 3 v 2.
