Yeah, and we got to the HQ before said squad did. And the one command they didn't listen to all day... run around naked. Figures Anywho, I had a blast. First game was a bit of a cluster, but it happens. I said basically all my con's to canto at the event, so I won't bother to list them here. I'll say the same thing tex said - thanks to all the guys that followed what I was saying. American forces were victorious strictly because of that. Michigansniper, you're a sneaky bastard. Whole freakin squad of veteran players surrendered by one guy. Great move. By the way, sky is an asshat =p Tex, my point stands. You koreans DONT HAVE HELIOCHOPPAH! We shot em all down. Hah. See you guys at hell's survivors.

I had a great time at the game. I wish the NK side was a little more motivated, but beggars can't be choosers. Had to carry on the tradition of NK losing in FF games somehow, I guess. Thanks again for the card, Canto. I'm still waiting for the other half of my b-day present.

Yeah it was my first game too, it was rather fun. Towards the end both teams just stopped calling hits, but it was the last match. Cant wait for the pics and videos to be up.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. We can't improve events without it.
A few pros and cons I had with the event:
- Not starting on time, not a lot we could do though... - A large amount of player drops/no calls, no shows.
But all things considered it was a blast. Always good to see people like CrazyRabbit, SkyPilot, Talon, Talisman, etc.
A huge thank you goes out to everyone who braved the weather and attended Deep Snow.
I will be releasing details soon on the Operation Flash Fire: Deep Snow video that will be available for free downloads off the Armory Airsoft website, along with YouTube.

Sorry I didn't show for this one. My rides trans went last minute and I had no internet this weekend so I couldn't let you guys know. Hope no one holds this against me. Sometimes things are just beyond our control. Hope to see some of you down in farmington next weekend, and I'm glad to hear the event was fun. As for the CQC I will be driving my own car to ensure my participation.

It does suck when your outnumber and the enemy has pinned you all the way back to your spawn.
The city was cool but I wish the rooms were bigger. The trenches were completely unforgiving.
Thank you for not spawn raping us! We were completely surrounded. I wish it was possible to have taken the city because we were pretty close. The use of radios would have coordinated leadership roles a lot better.

I had a really good time, this was my token Op for the year.
Two things I thought of that would make the op better. 1. Camo requirements. If the boards say Tan vs. Green, then follow that. If you signed up for NK and show up in ACU, then it looks like you're American today buddy! And that's something that should be enforced by the moderators. 2. Some set goals. I was out in the middle of the woods with Stinky and suddenly this mass of NK soldiers comes our way. Turns out it was lunch time but we didn't have a clue, so we just took the city instead. So I guess I'm saying a timetable would be nice (break for lunch at 2pm OR when you take the city etc.)
Anyways, it's always good fun to see familiar faces again and to meet people from the boards. Hope to see you guys some more.

I thought the op was amazing. I was with nightassasin, i was the one with the SR-25. the one concern i had with the op was due to some no hit calls, especially in the bunker. other than that it was great thanks so much Canto, our fearless leader.

Angel wings, I was the one with the M16 next to you in the trench ambush, you have a really nice gun, and need to get another longer lasting battery.

Sorry i could not make it. I tried my hardest to get there and me and my team only got about half way when he had to turn back due to conditions. My friends camaro kept spinning out on the high way. let alone traffic was only moving at about 30 miles and hour except for trucks. WE tried our hardest to get there but we couldnt. Chicago's mayor didnt even plow our streets. How was everything?

This was an amazing first event! (for me) Events like these make me come too the next one! It was so much fun. Man, our NK Forces had a pretty Epic fail when we lost the base, but thats alright! It just makes for a better story!
