Another note, I can't remember a single game where there wan't a problem with people calling their hits, it says a lot about all the new guys that came out and played. Very refreshing!

wow me + ACU cut = FAIL!!!!!
On a serious note though: I agree with C that was one of the best days possibly because of the honesty and sportsmanship shown. I hate to name names simply because it shows others up but Elite Op's you and your guys are the future of our sport Well done!

Guys, now that I've had a chance to go over some stuff after the event, I have to say I had a total blast. For our first time hosting a big event, it was nerve-wracking but great. I kept wondering if I did enough prep, if we had all our ducks in a row, etc...
Turns out we did.
This game was an absolute riot, even though I was out to ref or whatever for most of it. I definately think there's a bit of things that culd have gone better, like giving Delta a solid respawnpoint besides the medics, but even without, I think the D-Boys did amazing. They may not have pulled off everything, but everyhere I went, it seemed like the field was swarming with the boys in green! It's pretty demoralizing to go back to my spawn point and see half my guys there with kill rags on, down for the count!
Thenaks for all the love here guys, and thanks for all the veteran players who showed up to help out the new guys, all the new guys who came out and played their asses off, and showed how much this sport means to them!!
Thanks to the embedded refs: Ed, Dninja, FAH, Dninja for running Delta, BigC (When words fail, SAW's speak....), TJ, Kender (Youngs) for taking great care of us and the players, and a shoutout to Ranger for winning the AEG on a long shot ticket!!
Guys, thank you all so much for making this so big, don't worry, we'll be back to do it all again!!

Had a great time! Came away with a few bumps, scratches, and minus one mag, but enjoyed the hell out of it! Looking forward to the next match and the next chance to play with FAH

I defiantly had fun out there, it was great to get out and let loose some needed aggression out there. I had a great time working with FAH and meeting some of the other teams that were out there as well. I would've hated myself if I didn't go to the OP.
There are no major bitches that I have, execpt for the Mutt MK1 stripped a spur gear, A thank you to Trigger for the replacement (if he wants compensation for it call my cell and I will pay for it)(Also a big thank you for TJ for tearing the MK1 apart multiple times to get it running again, and finding the problem with it as well)
Hopefully we can do it next year when the season kicks into gear again, I'll be looking forward to rolling with FAH again.

FAH did a GREAT job. I had a great time guys. I'm glad that I was finally able to make a game and help out, even though I didn't play. It was great to see a lot of familiar faces and some new ones too. Lots of great pictures.
Ranger, did you buy that lottery ticket on the way home? It was good to see someone who was really happy to win a prize. Especially after seeing four others prizes meeting some down faces.
Hate, Porn, and Crafty, I'm glad I was able to help.
NOW, let's find that CQB building!

I enjoyed the match and I hope that I will do better next time. Whoever got that head shot on me did a good job; I still have a bump on my head.

I ended up taking off the mini stock and putting on my adjustable one and I like it even more now..I will add some pics sometime soon.. You just couldn't leave that gun alone could you. You had it for less than a day and it looks like a new gun. It was really fun to play on your team. Also to whoever was Delta's captian, you did a great job.

Delta's captain was Dninja, I heard lots of good things about him running Delta.

He did do a great job. He made a point to direct us at the best of his abilities even though we seemed more like the militia than the militia did because we were not prepared.

That's just something that comes with experience. It has to be said that there were a lot of new players on each side, making things a challenge for everyone. As much as I like having 100% reliable veteran players with me, I also enjoy the challenge of having some of the new guys, too, as sometimes half your guys break and run or get killed, or you get those breakout players that raise the bar for everyone. think there were some great heroes on both sides, and a lot of guys got a chance to shine out there. Can't wait to do it again next year!

I had a squad of newer guys and they did a good job keeping up with the team. I was really impressed with the level of teamwork involved with the guys I was rolling with!
