You're better off getting a VSR10 or if you must go for a clone buy a JG BAR10 because they absolutely positively 100% of the time are upgradeble with all TM VSR Parts.

The super 9 is the absolute biggest waste of money that exists in airsoft. There are virtually no upgrades that exist to make one field worthy, and from what I've read, the entire gun is made of very low quality plastic, and makes UTG looks good. Go with the JG bar 10 instead.

Rule of thumb: Never trust online retailer FPS claims.

My thoughts: If you can't afford a good base sniper rifle, you shouldn't be getting a sniper rifle.

It looks ok, but is it just me or does the cheek pad look like plastic?

Well... It is not okay, I own one and I must say they suck the big one. The whole stock is plastic except for the rubber butt-pad.

the stock in plastic, but can it be replaced with a metal one?

Why would you want a metal stock, they don't make them, it would add too much unnecessary weight to the gun, but it is unclear what gun you are talking about, the super 9 or the BAR-10?

No they don't make metal stocks for it.
