Hey Doc, I had a great time on Saturday. I was kinda pissed I had a wedding to go to today, but I drank my way through it so it was bearable. I was a little mad at myself that I only got to play a good 5 hours on the field because of my little everclear incident the night before. I have nothing else to say, by the night game, i didn't even recognize the field I was playing on.
I did got hit in the gun once, set it down and grabbed the pistol because I was thinking my primary was out of service. Apparently, someone picked up my gun. (kinda pissed it was gone, but it's okay because they probably thought it was lost.) Oh well, got it back at the shop, got back into action and overall had a blast.

Overall had a great (last) game. Got to be really sneaky, always fun. It's been a pleasure playing with you guys. I may be back sometime in the future when I'm on leave, Christmas or New Years time frame. My girlfriend (Tex: the one in the red hoodie.) Will have pictures posted soon. I took a peek and their looking pretty good. I know the wordings a little funky but tex is not my girlfriend i was addressing him.
the meals were great but for me and my metabolism the portion sizes weren't quite enough, I wouldn't have been apposed to paying more for food if it was optional and we received larger portions.
I'm a little disappointed in the people who signed up but didn't show without informing anyone.
I think in future events there should be an effort to even teams. It seems to me that woodland uniforms always gets beaten by the more experienced, organized, and equipped operator or desert camo team. I understand you're part of a team but every op I've been too I've worn woodland camo because, one, thats all i have and, two, that's all my friends have. It seems we try to even teams with numbers but numbers haven't been so grossly uneven to really make a difference.
I appreciate all the hard work that went into the op and $30 is a great price for two days i have no complaints there. Thanks for everything.
btw: for those that i talked to, my p90 its now in the commerce section.

Unfortunately the only proper way to distinguish teams is with camo. Normally the Woodland outnumbers a CIA or Desert loadout almost 2 to 1 which tends to balance things out because the more experienced tend to work together more, rather than running together as a squad.
Teams are always difficult to balance out, and never are perfect, but, I've been on the losing end of an OP before and still had a blast, but I think that's because I run around like a goon screaming, yelling, jumping, laughing and just having fun. I actually think I took out more people when I was running around crazy than when I was being tactical.
I'm glad y'all had a good time, and as always, suggestions to make it a better experience is always welcome.

Where to start... 1.) Thank you's Doc's Mom,Wife,Dad (heatgun) and Doc and Team Rage, Monk ( For hanging out with the ol'man) and Team Rats, always good times.
2.)More Thank yous Livonia (Tac Vest) Hunting each other was awesome! Shoot each other, hanging out. Nice to meet you man!!! ( This Guy, if your bb's aren't reaching him.... He'll tell you aim HIGHER!!! then call his hit... I have nothing else to say
3.) AWESOME FUN GAMES. 1st night game running with TEX, Mosin,Livonia,Bonesaw, and Sky-Pilot.
4.) 2nd Night game, running with RATS squad, Patrols Squad VS.Squad Lighten-up Canto's Boyz on trail.9 shots with the WE-Tech 6 kills Good times. "Breaking the Law Stand off " SFOD trying to get the ambush going. Knowing Team Rats had just made the kill on Canto Squad and was right around the corner. But where did they go its been 20 min. Sneaking closer and closer. I make a couple shots in the dark and catch Corey in the arm....As Tex calls the game. Right as the Breakin the Law Fire fight had just begun. Damn You Tex.
5 Sundays three games, we got to play in before having to go home, Less guys super intense fire fights. Not every minute like Saturday. But more sneaking and tactical stuff. Then Bam your in some intense sh*t!!!
Funniest moment: Calling for help over the radio to my team. Chaseman needs help... Where are you? I'm in the Bitch Ditch!!!.... Where the fu*k is that!?! The bitch ditch, right in front of the main city. You know the big hole!!! I was teased the rest of the weekend for that one. I have nothing else to say
Nice to meet the guys from Lakeshore, Executioner ( good luck in basic) Canto ( see you at FF) Mosin , Blindshot, Tex as always good time.
+1 to crazyman Back Dat Ass UP! LMAO!!!
P.S Not a big Basher on the Forums But +1 to Doc, I personally saw him check peoples glasses and saw him tell a few people they couldn't wear the ones they brought. Then get them taking care of with approved glasses, so they could still play.
I only know of two things that happened Tex faked a broken finger. JK I have nothing else to say, and one guy had a bad double blister on his foot from new boots he got a foot bath and looked like he was walking better Sunday. Talk about Service. Out standing event well be back.
Thanks Chaseman

Yeah, I was a field mod for this event as well as Livonia's spotter. We made damn sure to check that everyone had something that was approved, if it wasn't, then they were SOL. But I remember Tom hanks brought in his goggles and Doc shot the glasses from 6 inches away with his sniper and not a stratch, so that was sorta our way of testing. Nevertheless no injuries except the person who wore those new boots and screwed up their achillies heel, but for the most part, this game was pure owned. If anyone has pictures of two people in ghillie suits (Me and Livonia) could they please PM them to me or shoot them to my Email? Mosin16@Gmail.com
Thanks and good hunting,
-Mosin

I was not able to make it to the night game or the Sunday portion of the event but I did have a great time while I was there. It's always nice showing up to an event and seeing all the people you've seen over the years and weapons that I have previously owned. A big thank you to Doc and his family for as always going above and beyond to make us all happy.
Hope to see everyone again soon.

And just a friendly reminder... our field is filled with sand, break down those guns and clean them out, I promise that there is tons of it inside them! Seriously, anyone who attended this event should most definitely scrub the bajeezus outta their guns. Took me a good 45 minutes of scrubbing with a toothbrush to get all the dirty and sand out of my handgun. And Tex, if you can find whoever had that sequence of 4 action shots of me we found, please let me know- I'd like to make an avatar slideshow out of 'em =D -Wolf

Uh oh, Tex is going support gunner.... haha. Also, I second the sand thing. I was looking at my cylinder/upper gearbox today and wondering why it was "sticking". Come to find out sand got into my cylinder sleeve and embedded itself between the orings on my cylinder head and my piston head oring. I haven't even gotten to my pistol yes but judging by the fact that my mags got stuck half way out when ejected, I know it needs it. I will say this though. The sand, while being a pain, is great for those who like to run and gun. In the city assaults on Sunday morning I was all over the place. Being able to run up to a bunker and do some diving and prone action is priceless. Makes it that much more fun to me. Also, great day of shooting and a big thanks to Doc and his crew for the event and the food. I was so happy to get a nice hot cup of coffee on Sunday morning. And the sausage wraps were delicous as always.
