To bad you are limiting the age, with such short notice and no games going on, on this side of the state, our team would of liked to play. Oh well.... With this being a new field and a REC Game. It might be better to lower the cost and lose the food too. Just so people can check it out. Just a thought. Bigger fields require more people to keep the action interesting. Just something I have noticed having access to a newer larger field ourselves. Maybe next time.

I agree that the fee should be lowered, but I disagree with "bigger fields require more people to keep the action interesting". This isnt paintball, airsoft is more about military simulation, squad tactics and such. But everyone likes their own slice of pie, and I understand that.

Admission-$25 if preregistered before September 11th, $35 on the day of the game Full Eye Protection-NO EXCEPTIONS!! All eye protection must be either full goggles with a cloth covering of some sort over face or a full face masks NO EXCEPTIONS!! The cost canceled me out, I was looking for something to do this weekend as well. But secondly, I'd have to by a new mask just for your event, put it even at $55 + gas to play your event. I should just switch back to paintball. Also put an address up that people can search on mapquest if your not going to post a map. I tried searching and it just gives me a map of Michigan.

FYI, I don't know if swampfox is going to be coming around here much to answer questions. He PMed me the game details on SEMIA and asked that I put it up here as well. I don't know how often he checks these boards. This is in no way my game, and I don't believe I'll even be able to make it out.

Why is he on SEMIA and why is Spy Ops involved with this...? The field is West of Kalamazoo...

I have read your post and I greatly appreciate the feedback and I am going to make adjustments to make this a more enjoyable event. First thing is I will change the cost, the date and age limit. I have to talk to those who are assisting me in the event. Check by tomorrow evening for the update. If you have any suggestions feel free to post I am open to making this a awesome event.
Also I live in the Detroit area but I own the 76 acres in Bloomingdale Township and I am familiar with the guys at Spy Op because of my living in the Detroit area.

How the hell should I know? My guess is that he lives on the east side and owns land on the west side. But that's just a guess. I talked to him on the phone for about 5 minutes while he was in spy ops. He owns the land, and it's heavily wooded in most areas and has some patches of thick low brush. That, and the information in the main post are the extent of my knowledge of swampfox and his field.
Well that, and he seemed like a really nice fella on the phone.

Put me down for this. If I miss Diamondback I'll definitely be there for this.

Sorry, but it's unlikely you will find people to come to a low turnout game, for $15 on an unplayed field that requires full face protection (a big deal to airsoft players). Try making it free (at least until you have more than a 10 person turn out and the field becomes recognized), and removing the full face protection and you'll have more success.

First, there have been 23 to date who have said they were coming. Second, from the conversations I have had with law enforcement and military vets in my family and friends who have experience in combat situations, the element of the unknown, an enviroment foreign to the warrior in which one has to maneuver to achieve the object is one of the greatest test one can find themselves in. The unknown will bring out the best and worse the good thing is here no one dies for real you get to learn from the experience and get better.

You have 23 sign ups and yet you solicited in another events thread?
I was trying to help you, and you have come back in an aggressive manner, so I guess I'll just let you learn from your own mistakes. Good luck chief.
