Well I thought everything ran good. I had a blast out there and also got fucked up a couple of times. I know Sue snagged a ton of pic's, so don't be like my cousin, let's see them. Anyone else have any thought's?

I had some fun today. It was nice going to a new field and a change of pace was nice.
I thought the "schedule" that Chaseman made was pretty useful and should be implemented at other events. It keeps everyone organized instead of running around like chickens with our heads cut off.
I think that if the owner would give the ok to clear out a few little areas and add some buildings, this field would have some serious potential.
Thanks for hosting RATS and Chaseman!!
I should have a few pics up soon.

Other than the mud I fell into and my fall in front of four or five guys I had a great day.

This game was one of the better ran ones I've been to, congrats to Team Rats for that. It was blast playing a game with people that knew what they were doing and not having forty-million 10 year olds running around. My only complaint is the field was to big for the amount of people we had but Team Rats did a nice job sectioning off areas for combat the support the low numbers.
I was really disappointed during the man hunt game that Seven, Trout8, one other and I got out of the playing field only killing four guys. But then again we took a round about way of getting out.
Good job hosting the event Team Rats and I'll be sure to make plenty more in the future.

I wanted to personally thank everyone that made it out. You guys really made the event. Everyone was very cooperative and all around very decent. I didnt have a single problem with anyone all day. I had a great time today, really appreciate everyone coming out. I hope to have many more like this in the future.
Also wanted to thank the volunteer refs, they helped us run things and kept it smooth. Thank you.
Would also like to those pictures, I know we got some good ones during the game.

I agree with CQBR that this field could use some brush clearing. Buildings would be awesome as well.
Dahm and I didn't get to play much due to gun problems and such but the field definitely has a lot of potential. I like how organized it was, most games turn out to be about an hour and a half of people admiring each others' guns then when prompted, people will play. This game's momentum was well maintained with minimal down time and smooth transitions between games.
Finally got to use my M24 in a game with it's brand new parts but the rain got the best of us and we had to call it. Overall, a great day of gameplay and got to put some names to faces.
P.S. -I'd really like to see the picture someone snapped of Dahm supporting his rifle on my shoulder, don't remember who took it.

I agree with Embed on most of that stuff. We rolled together all day, so we had sort of the same experience and opinions. I wanted to thank Chaseman especially for doing such a great job at the event. He made sure it was ran smoothly, and without confusion. Good job man, host them all like this.
As for the field, the rain killed some if it, but brush cleaning and more buildings, as said earlier, would improve the gameplay a lot! There doesn't even really need to be buildings, but more than a few "obstacles" such as pallets and such would be great. I found little to no coverage other than trees and logs.
One more thing I could suggest is a warning posted and a sign on the driveway, that says "WARNING: Large rocks, and trenches". The entire 1/8 mile driveway had huge rocks on it, and then turned into a tight drive with many deep trenches that a Saturn LS Sedan like mine could easily get stuck in. Furthermore at the tightest turn where there is only room for 1 car, if you could put a mirror there so the driver can see if anyone is coming, that would be spectacular.
I had a great time today despite the rain, I spent a lot of time helping Embed out fixing his guns, and making a makeshift bipod fix for myself. Chaseman, there is no hardware store! BUT we did end up at Gander Mountain, and I bought a Barska real steel multireticle reflex site that I probably pissed people off telling them about over and over (because I was happy to get it).
I hope to play there again soon.

Like everyone else has said, the event was run very well. That 20' tunnel sounds pretty cool. I guess I'll have to come back and check it out.
One suggestion I would make is to put up sign posts so people know where they are.
