Turns out I won't be able to make it due to family situations. I'm so bummed. I was looking forward to getting in one last game in before classes start next week.

As long as nothing comes up, I'll be heading out there on Saturday to get my first taste of airsoft. There's a chance that I'll be purchasing a gun while I'm out there as well.  |

Two questions: If you are 14, does your parents have to play with you or just sign waiver? I did not quite understand that part.
Also, are half cut paintball masks allowed?

14 and older need to have their parents sign the waiver. Younger than 14 and your parents must accompany you at all times. If you are over 18, you may sign your own waiver.
Edit: yes, half cut masks are allowed, as long as your eye protection remains full seal and ANSI rated.

Face protection is entirely up to the player, as long as you have full seal goggles, you're fine.
