I would go, but honestly.. What's the money going towards? If we're not getting fed and it's an undeveloped field.. Is this just one of those "You give us moneys to play at our field kthxbai" type things? Pending on the response will be if I want to make the drive out with Oakey pokey. (Sorry if it seems like I'm an asshole, I'm not trying to be.. I'm just one of those people that likes to see their money get put to work). Money will be going towards the same thing as any other field in the state Mosin. It's not free to put on an event. Insurance, building the field, and paying the land owner are to be expected. Besides, with the relatively small games, and newness of the field, you can't expect things to move at light speed. We need some time to build and develop the field as we only got rights to use it earlier this year. I know for a fact that I speak for the entire team when I say that we will do things the right way. Any money we receive will be going to the field and the cost of running the events. After whats happened recently with the MOA field and all the accusations, it'd be stupid for us to do this any other way. Also, you won't be disappointed with the land, even though it's only basic bunkers right now. It's (as far as I know) the largest field in the state by a long shot. Natural terrain is perfect for airsoft and there is plenty of great cover and hides. Everyone that has been out so far has been blown away by the size and scope of the field. It's something you need to see to really see just how great it is, even with the bit of work we've been able to do on it to this point. |

It's up to you Mosin. And yes, I agree on the insurance. I don't know specifics, because that's Chaseman who is handling that facet of it. I'm just saying that all the money we receive will be going towards the various normalities of airsoft fields and running events. I think it is a bit of a hike for you to be honest, but I would love to see you make it out. You'd love the field, that much I know. I know your play style and mine is actually very similar (hunt and stalk). The field is almost tailor made for this. Especially with the smaller events.  |

Personally, I think it's lame as hell to expect someone to feed you at games. All of you that think Doc's food was kick ass and the best idea in the world, just to raise costs, are idiots quite frankly.
You're big boys, pack a lunch or go get something like the rest of us. Nobody needs to care for my ass, I provide for myself because I'm a responsible adult as should you.
You're correct, it doesn't have insurance yet for the field, however I've gone to meetings with the field owner, Chaseman and Skypilot. For the large OP that's being planned, there WILL be insurance, porta-potties and probably some sort of vending ( not 100% on that one as we were discussing possibilities. ) However, it will be legit for the OP's held on this field.
The land owner is gracious enough to provide us with a great field for a minimal fee on OUR side of the state, that's fair to me. If you don't like it, go play elsewhere and eat your mac-n-cheese.
PCA rec-games are geared for fun and hassle free play so stop being a drama queen or I'll piss on your chicken fries at BD.

Deleted.. But for the record, I actually wanted to attend. It was just a general curiousity at first, and once Darcness answered, I was trying to get a carpool figured out to attend, then Chaseman had to jump in with that "It's none of your business stuff" and pis in my cheerios.
Anyways, I'm done starting it. It wasn't ment to be an attack on Chaseman or RATS or anyone, just a general question, because well.. After Doc's little thing happened, it's just how I've become.
Sorry for the drama on my end.

I FUCKING love a cold Arby's Roast beef Sandwich at my OP's. Cold Roast beef = The shizz. Throw in an apple or two and a few water and im a happy camper.
Agree with Crazy. PBJ's do the trick as well but not as delicious as Arby's!
