I know this is sort of irrelevant, but some people put baby powder or other smokey powders in with the BB's for a smoking effect. The user of the grenade should check with anyone if they are allergic or asthmatic. I mean I'd feel terrible if someone had an asthma attack because of my ignorance.
Just making a suggestion.

The rules look great, one question occurred though. What counts as a "hit"? Is it if a bb touches you, hits you hard, or your within a certain range, or some other rule?

I would treat it like rifle/pistol fire: A hit anywhere on your body or gear counts (Could do gun hits, too, I guess, if you played that way), ricochet's don't count unless you were struck so hard by one you had no idea it was a ricochet.

You're not even going to feel a bb directly propelled from the grenade. I have the Tornado and have set it off literally 2 ft from me, and not felt the bb's. Sadly, airsoft hand grenades are fairly ineffective, and we must rely on the honor system for someone to call out based on how close the grenade is to them.

I would treat each BB as an individual piece of fragmented metal from a fragmentation grenade. And just like a BB (bullet) graze to the hand in our sport means a kill, then a grenade BB (frag piece) should take you out as well, regardless of the speed of impact.

Ghilleinthemist- this is your 2nd time being told to read through the stickies. You posting in this one is a decent indication that you have started, but start with the rules and make sure you familiarize yourself with them before posting again.
"2" is not a substitute for "too" in any sense of either word. Periods, commas, and capitalization can and will help in making your posts more legible, you looking more intelligent, and people wanting to communicate in a manner higher than simians throwing dung at each other.
This is your first official warning.

Well think of it this way. More than likely you would be using the grenade indoors I would assume, as it would be slightly easier. But if you were standing in a medium sized (maybe 14'x14') room and a grenade went off in the center it would be safe to assume everyone in the room would be dead without cover.

I realize how old this topic is however I believe what I have to say is relevant in some aspect. Blind fire and engagement limits come to mind when I think of using a grenade. I would greatly enjoy some clarification on those two topics... thanks!

Grenades usually work at a low enough FPS for it not to be an issue. It's not single bb's at a high rate of speed, it's a butt-load coming all at once that you feel.

I have never used airsoft nades nor do I ever plan to. I'd rather just shoot. cheap and easy. I was just wondering if someone were to come up on a bunker and slip one in through a window and have it end up in some one elses lap, how would that situation go down?

If it takes thefatairsofter a week or so to respond to your pm's, don't be surprised; he just earned his 3rd strike.

I think that a feet limit would work better - all those within 10/15 ft. without being behind substantial cover are dead/injured. Much like the Lion Claws series does it.
