I just got my CA M-24 friday. Since then I have only put 75 rounds through it tops... (been busy)... and it BROKE!!!
It is stock, and the problem may be a simple fix, or something complicated. I was going to use it tomorrow (on labor day) for a small team game, and so I was adjusting the hop-up (yes it does have one, as several people told me it didn't). All of a sudden the bolt would not go forward all the way, like when the magazine is empty. So I removed the magazine, however, it still had BB's in it. I flipped the gun over (with the magazine removed), and pulled the bolt back and this is what I saw...
Rather that is what I should have seen. Anyone familiar with this rifle knows that you can adjust the stock hop up here (the little hole in the middle) but the hole was not visible, as the whole chamber had been pulled back with the bolt! If I push the bolt forward I can see the brass chamber(as pictured), but the little brass rod that pushes the bb's into the barrel is covering the hop up hole. When I attempt to pull the bolt back again, the chamber follows, and I see o-rings, and all sorts of parts in the weapon go by as the bolt is being pulled back. What the heck happened, and how can I fix it? Any help would be appreciated.
*Note: I plan on having the rifle upgraded as soon as the parts come in. I was just hoping to use it stock, as my other CA, an M4, is down as well, just for this weekend. SO I could have it fixed at that time, if it is too complicated for such a newb as myself. Curse my bad luck. Two CA's down...*
