I'm all for it...I just need to get some of my gear in order first. I'd like to get a couple more magazines for the AUG or perhaps a hicrap magazine instead. Also I'd really need at least another pistol magazine too. I mean, if we're going to compete we might as well go out prepared for the worst and I sure don't want to be stuck out in the middle of a firefight reloading magazines with that evil ramrod. Really wish we could go down there as Semtex ...but I doubt we'd do too well compared to the other teams. So maybe we could get a group of forum members together and create a Michigan Expeditionary Force.

I'm interested. frostee told me about this event at least a month ago and I think it'd be cool to have an MI team. I'm not sure how well we'd do, but we'd give it our best shot! I'm almost certain the rest of Heavy Recon would be interested, so that's half of a team right there.

'Orion' is currently putting together a team. We have 4 confirmed and about 4 or 5 maybe's. Our problem is also with scheduling. Since the entire team is in college everybody's got internships or study abroad during the summer. We also have an upper peninsula scenario planned the week before (two road trips in a row).
I LOVE the idea. Everyone in the team is in good physical shape (well, Duncan and Luke smoke) and our marksmanship is also pretty good. I also have a theory that no one in Ohio can play airsoft worth a damn.

Speaking from experience Ed, I can assure you that your theory on Ohio player's abilities is completely incorrect and will be proved to you short-handedly should you participate in this event. ;D

I used to be in paintball for several years. I am looking for a Michigan team to compete and play in. I have a stock style mp5 from ICS. I am hopeful to purchase a better marker/airsoft gun in the next few weeks.
I am mostly free on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and early on the weekends. I would love to try out or get on a team for this OP! I used to watch USA Combat Missions for the first season and I wished it was me in one of those teams.
I have some Mil-Spec equipment and I am sure to get more in the near future. If anyone is organizing a Michigan team, please feel free to email me at rwbiggs@hotmail.com.
I would definitly go!

Here's the thing Karma. Every noob (no offesne) that has come to MiA in the past few months has been bent on starting a team. There's nothing wrong with that, but there's also not really a need for it. You can play with MiA and have just as much fun without having to be in a competitive team. See what I mean?
EDIT- Oh yeah, welcome to the boards! ;D
