Game Times: 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Background:

This event is loosely based on actual historical events, places, and people...

08 July 1955 - Che Guevara meets Fidel Castro and joins the 26th of July movement to overthrow the government of Bastista in Cuba. Che becomes Castro’s right hand in military operations.
25 November 1956 - Government attack on Guevara and rebels while in route to Cuba; flees to Sierra Maestra mountains to start a guerrilla war.
1957 - Fidel Castro and Che Guevara operate and stage hit and run attacks on government forces while operating a base out of the Sierra Maestra mountains.
01 January 1958 - Cuban army demoralized.
01 April 1958 - Cuban army flooded with green recruits...
28 June 1958 - Bastista orders the government army to crush Castro’s rebel army and prevent the overthrow of the Bastista government.

Mission Objectives:

Cuban Government (Bastista)

01) Prevent rebels from reaching weapons cache.
02) Prevent rebels from capturing ammunition and fuel dump.
03) Seize control of Ville de Cantillo and hold from rebel attack.
04) Seize rebel intelligence documents and bring to government army HQ.
05) Capture Castro or Guevara and bring to government army HQ.
06) Eliminate all rebel personnel.
07) (Optional) Prevent rebel army from seizing cigars.

Rebel Army (Castro and Che)

01) Seize government army weapons cache.
02) Hold Ville de Cantillo from government attack.
03) Capture general Alberto del Rio Chaviano and bring to rebel HQ.
04) Seize government intelligence documents and bring to rebel HQ.
05) Eliminate all government army personnel.
06) Hold and/or seize all defendable positions in the Sierra Maestra.
07) (Optional) Seize a box Bastista’s favorite cigars.

Forces in Play and Uniform:

Government Army - Woodland, Tiger Stripe, ACU, MARPAT, OD Green.
Rebel Army - Desert, Urban, Black, Tan, or complete civilian.

Ammunition and FPS Regulations:

Standard Rifles and Submachine Guns
- 420 FPS limit
- 1500rounds in any configuration. Loose BB’s are permitted

SAW's and Support Weapons
- 420 FPS limit
- 2500 rounds in any configuration. Loose BB’s are permitted

Sniper Rifles
- 520 FPS limit
- 200 rounds in any configuration. Loose BB’s are not permitted

Engagement Limits for all Weapons

1.0 - 350.9 fps - Arms length engagement limit
351.0 - 410.9 fps - 20 foot engagement limit
411.0 - 550.9 fps – 50 foot engagement limit, bolt action or permanent* semi-auto replicas only
551.0+ fps - Prohibited or allowed with permission of event organizer only

*Permanent semi-auto refers to replicas that do not have full-auto fire capability, no matter how the selector switch or other user input device is manipulated.

General Information:

- All players must sign a waiver before playing
- All minors must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian
- Running water and electricity available on site.
- BB's, Green Gas, Batteries, and drinks will be for sale on site.
- Visitors or parents will be admitted for free.
- Violation of rules or regulations set down on the field is grounds for removal from game without refund.
- Theft of any sort is grounds for removal from game without refund
- No pyrotechnics of any sort, with the exception of smoke grenades.
- Please lock all BB’s/ammunition/valuables inside your vehicle.

What to Bring:

- Eye protection (goggles)
- Spare BB’s
- Canteen / Snacks
- Additional battery (if desired)

Ok myself (Fidel Castro) and the juggernaut (Che Geuvara) would like to set up some kind of elite guard unit to protect us.

We will be moving around a lot and doing tons of objectives. So if you'd like to join the elite guard then just post it on here.

Theres only room for 9 guards though. Oh and also, the guards will have access to the finest Cuban cigars (not really cubans) but only if your of age.
