Back in 1997 when we first got a computer I was already thinking up a name I could use online before we even had an ISP picked out. I made a huge list of possible names..from Star Wars to Star Trek, Skateboards to Snowboards, sheesh I had at least 100 of em. But when the day arrived and we finally got online I couldn't find my list anywhere, when I signed on to some chat room my mind blanked...and then suddenly...years of Street Fighter videogames finally proved their worth!...I typed in Hadoken. And I've used that name ever since. *shrugs* Not really the best story, but aah well..tis the truth. Ken rules, Ryu sucks! heehee *me runs away*

I got Newman because my (boy) cousins call me that, I have no idea why. It's not taken from Seinfeld at all, they just like calling me that. By the way, my real name is Neal so they probably just took that and made it sound funny ;D One of my AIM screennames is ComandoN, I made that in 2nd or 3rd grade (I have nothing else to say) when I couldn't schpeel commando, so I wrote Comando and then tacked on N for Neal. Fun stuff. Just last night my girlfriend's friend gave me a new nickname, Beans. No, I wasn't passing gas ( ;D ;D ;D), she just gave me that name and my girlfriend likes it. So it's stuck on me now. There's my story of 3 names.

My name came about because I can't think of a name. So I'm just stuck with "Guess Who?"

Well let's see here, my last name is Meinke, and my forum name is Minky...see the connection? Most of my friends usually just call me Meinke, which tends to turn in to Minky as a matter of convenience, and the fact that my friends are bastards. Not really...well yes they are, but in a good way.

Lets see... I used to go by ObLiViuN, which I picked out when I was in about 6th grade. Ever since about 8th grade ive been thinking that I needed a better name. Then, one day while playing CS, my best friend and I decided that we should have a clan. I just wanted to look cool, but thought it was a good idea While I was playing, I decided to experiment with the spelling of our new clan tag, [F.M.J]. However, I noticed that the whole thing together was too long when I opened the scoresheet. Instead of chopping off the end, it just printed my name as unnamed. I decided that this was a great name, so I replaced the Obliviun with Unnamed, and for games I keep my clan tag, but not for forums.

Well here is my story. Every school I ever went to my whole life had their mascots as Vikings. This is very strange, sense elementary all the way up to my senior year, 6 different schools two states, all Vikings. So what the hell name myself Viking right? Right. Well I didn’t want to put this before cause that’s really a gay reason to name myself Viking. So then I decided it was cause my favorite team in the NFL are he Vikings, then I thought well that’s gay too, to name yourself after a NFL football team. SO I just ignored this post for a while and while I was reading all the post just now I finally figured out why I am Viking. I took 3 years of Military history back in high school. And one thing I loved about the Vikings where that they were raiders. They used hit and run tactics. Superior force on a unsuspecting enemy. Hit them hard, retreat and attack another spot in the same faction. This is very effective, in a sense this was the very first example of guerrilla warfare. I noticed that this is a lot like my skirmishing style. I am more of a hit and run, recon guy. I like flanking and attacking from behind. I like using stealth and surprise. I hit my opponents where they least expected it and hard, then I retreat to turn again and hit them again. Therefore I dub thy Viking. [edit] I should also add that my original internet name was X17. I had this sense I started using the Internet back in 95 or so. I got the name while playing Jane's Fighters Anthology online. Ever sense I was known as X17, till recently (half a year or so) I was big cheese over at www.airsoftretreat.com then I left it for personal matters between me and some of the staff, so, I wanted a new start and named myself Viking. If you look WAY back into the www.airsoftretreat.com news archive you can find my post in the news about me leaving the staff, hmm that sounds like fun I am gonna do that now!

;D My ancestors. " Norsemen! Keep moving... And keep quiet!" BTW, Ballista is another word for an ancient catapult; I couldn't think of a screen name, so... I picked that for some reason.
