I think he wants to know if he can cover up the orange tip on his barrel. If so yes but cover only after you get to teh field and remove it before you leave. Just to be safe.

Or remove it permanently because a) there is no law saying that the end user has to keep an orange tip on his gun and b) a little orange tip isn't going to keep you out of trouble if your replica is visible to the public. Keep your gun in a case and you won't need to distinguish it as a toy. If you have it out, an orange tip isn't going to make anybody think, "well, that's not a real gun, there's a splash of orange on the barrel."

Feet per second, meaning the speed of your gun, like my M4, my fps is around 320fps.

Feet per second, meaning the speed of your gun, like my M4, my fps is around 320fps. The speed of the gun is determined by how fast the wielder can move. FPS is the velocity of the BB in Feet/Second.

First page of the thread? Is reading really that hard? Don't reply with "It doesn't give me a number!" I know the search function works well.

miairsoft.proboards70.com/index.cgi?board=r-n-r&action=display&thread=6786Article 15. Unless otherwise noted, all events posted on MiA will follow these velocity and engagement rules. Read them and know them well. And please, when you ask questions in the future, or say anything at all for that matter, use complete sentences that make sense. Clearly there was some confusion about what you were asking. But if you had asked, "What are the fps rules for this event?" We would have known exactly what you wanted. Speak clearly if you want people to care at all about what you have to say.

I'm not trying to cause any problems here however Article 15. Unless otherwise noted, all events posted on MiA will follow these velocity and engagement rules. It states in the first post of this thread that Operation:Gold Rush IIS.F.O.D. FPS REGs I'm interested to find out what the actual fps regs for this event are as I am planning on attending some SFOD events. After searching I couldn't find anything about "SFOD fps regs" Edit: for grammer

That's actually a valid point. What are the SFOD FPS regs anyways?

If they're different than MiA regs, then this thread can't be open without the disclaimer. That's the point of the disclaimer. If they're different from MiA rules, you know about it.
However, SFOD regs are essentially MiA limits with the included clause that nothing over 350 fps is allowed to be used in the city. They've gone back and forth on whether or not you can fire out of the city from within the city with a gun over 350 fps, so that'll be for them to clear up. However, their rules mirror MiA rules with that caveat, which essentially just creates a CQB only zone.
