Just looking at this post I can tell you haven't or are unwilling to follow the rules which will get you booted out of here eventually. As far as joining groups look at the recruitment section. There are many teams that don't have strict age restrictions. The other thing too though is if you really read through this topic you'd already know that you don't have to be a part of a team to be able to go out an play big or small airsoft events.

these is a great info on my part because i have friends that are very excited to get in the game but has only limited knowledge about it. i however, have the experience of playing the game scenarios back home in the philippines. so, i guess i will still consider my self as a newbie out here in michigan, very interested to get contacts so that me and my friends can be educated and will have the first hand experience of the wonders of the game armed with knowledge from the right people.....again hopefully i get to know some of you and be invited for a game or two.....

Manowar, I realize that English is probably not your first language, but we do require your best effort at proper grammar, spelling and punctuation.
And don't worry about being 'invited' to games. Look in the events section, pick one you want to go to and post which side you want to play on. Then just show up at the proper time on the day of the event, pay your entry fee and you're good to do. Only private events or team practices are invite only around here. We post up rec games in the Events section all the time.

First off, welcome to the boards, I hope you enjoy your time here. =)
One of our peeves is people that don't capitalize and such, so try to keep up on that. First couple posts is okay, but if you can't spend time on your post then why would people spend time listening to you? Being from the Philippines, I'm not sure if English is your first language (dur, ignorant mainlander) so if it's not, just try your best.
That said, you dont have to be invited to games, if you flip over to the events section you'll see various games posted, just say you're coming and show up, it's that easy!
Enjoy =)
EDIT : Thor beat me to it. Whore!

Well, it looks like i should have gotten a Classic Army or a TM. I hope my JG mp5 will do however, because i don't want to buy a new gun yet. Great guide though, I appreciate it. Thankfully i never got to the 4th mistake, i have never wanted to be a sniper. It looks fun, but it is so expensive. I also never tried to buy a "decent" gun from Meijer's, but i went straight from my $20 pistol and $35 shotgun to a JG. Maybe i will see you guys on the field eventually.
Oh and all this capitalization and grammar stuff has made me extremely intimidated by this site. Maybe the rules should be re-worded because it sounds like it is optional to use good grammar and such, and it isn't very clear that you are expected to do so. But it is a great site nonetheless, and i appreciate everyone's help.

I uploaded the sniper part of the n00b guide to youtube. I notice a lot of people make that mistake, luckily I didn't. (But the one who showed me airsoft won't admit he made that mistake and still uses a sniper rifle.)

From the Forum Rules thread: miairsoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rules&action=display&thread=80896 - Please use proper grammar and punctuation. Not only will you get your message across much clearer, but other forum members might actually be able to reply to your post instead of trying to decipher your enigmatic nonsense. Seems pretty clear to me that you should use proper grammar/punctuation/spelling. Or would you prefer it said that you MUST do so?

They are. Posting without capital letters or punctuation is not allowed on his board, though. Have a forum warning.

I made the mistake of thinking being a sniper would be easy, it's not coming from a noob don't do it. Buy a AEG first and see if you have the skill and if you like sitting back. Also FPS isn't everything.
