I was thinking about coming to this with some friends, and was wondering three things: First, What kind of face mask would I have to get. and Second, I am new to this, would I have to get camoflauge (sp?) and a tac vest, Third, I am around 13, would I be able to play here??

I will break this down for you. First, you will need to get a Paintball Mask, the mesh masks that you find arent acceptable at most fields, and I am pretty sure that SFOD wont allow them unless they are checked out by them and GreyFox's Dad. Second, you dont need camo for this particular op if you want to participate on the Viet Cong side which is on the first post. Show up in regular clothes and you would be considerd for the NVA/VC side. However not all Ops will allow a Civi Uniform unless stated, so I would look at purchasing some camo within the near future.

As far as Tac Vest go, it all depends on what you have. Do you have an AEG or a Springer? Do you have multiple magazines and or clips for your AEG and or pistol? Are you heavy on the trigger of your AEG? All these factors come into play when you attend Ops. If you only have 1 mag for your rifle and dont carry anything else, then you dont need one. But if you have 12 mags and multiple utility items, then yes bring a Tac Vest.

And for you being 13, I would suggest you PM Connors about the age thing. I dont believe you are old enough to attend, but they might allow you to and I could be wrong on their age polices, but I believe their min. age is 14. And how old are your friends? That is a big issue too, especially if they are not old enough.

Steeldeath being a member of SFOD I can answer your question. As to the age limit it is 14 on the field and if your younger you have to be accompanied by a parent while on the field.
