I'm exited for this event personally. I'm just looking forward to running around that city with a pistol and the ole' knife.
Should be good times though.

I have a couple questions.
Is it possible that our crew come out for a few hours just in the afternoon? We have church in the morning so we would be out like be 1:15ish. Would this screw it up too much?
Also I have heard a lot about the city and what not, I have never been to the field before, can I use my sniper rifle?
Thanks in advance for the answers.

You can use any gun you want. Just make sure you watch your engagments. And I'm a little rusty with there rule but... You can't shoot inside the city with sniper rifles. Can shoot out and in just not inside.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

City rules:
1. CQB Engagemenets are in play. That includes both fps and engagement limits. If you have a rifle hotter than 350 fps, you MUST carry a sidearm, or some form of non-hot weapon to use the city. We have just had WAY too many incedients with hot rifles in the city, and we are very close to just dropping the rule and making the city a designated "CQB weapons only". addn anythign hotter is a no-go inside city limits.
[glow=red,2,300]This sidearm rule is an added SFOD field rule, and is NOT part of standard MIA rules. It is, however, the only change to any reg's involving play on our field. All other rules and reg's for playing and whatnot are standard MIA and are to be followed at all times.[/glow]
2. For snipers: You can shoot into the city with your rifles, but whether or not you can shoot at a target outside of the city from you being inside, has been debated many times and we don't always play the same rule. Sometimes we allow it, sometimes we do not. It will be covered the day of during breifing.
Delo, if you guys are a lil late, thats not a problem. Although, arriving at that time, may put you right in the middle of lunch break, but it's all good. If yer thinkin' of comming out to shoot with us, don't hesitate, just do it, even if yer not bright and early still come out and have a good time. We play till we either A: run out of daylight or B: run out of bodies. And we are known to throw some crazy night games, so those who do stay later, ya might get some good stealth action.

Figured I'd mention that we'll be there (Cerberus/Spyops). Don't know how many of us will be there, but we're on the Soviet side.

Alright, if I'm doing recon work outside the city, am I required to carry a sidearm?
Also.. Does my knife count as a sidearm?

i dont see why the knife wouldn't be an acceptable CQC weapon. you have to ambush them pretty hard though.

425infcof, Woodland is Soviet for this OP.
RAGE will be x5 now due to extenuating circumstances.
