Ok so I've got a rental lined up, so put me down for the American side. Better yet, just make it Dahm +1 (or x2, however you want to put it).

Since the topic has come up.... how does rain affect airsoft guns? I mean if it's pouring, do we call it off until it lets up or do we play regardless? I'm not afraid of a lil water, I just don't wanna ruin my guns or my rental, I have nothing else to say.

There are only two weather conditions we have here in Michigan that I would call a game for. Lightning and tornados. I suppose if it was dangerously cold out, too. But most people wouldn't want to be out in that anyway. As long as there's no lightning, we'll play in the hardest rain mother nature has to offer.
I have a question for everybody on the US side. How many of you are planning to dress up in civies circa 1984? I'm talking like the leather jacket/hoodie combo that Swayze was rocking, or a nice Star Wars hat? I only ask because if I end up showing up, I plan on looking like I belong in the movie.

Well in that case, will any SFOD game ref approve soviet over coats for the obvious side they would be on? I'll wear it untill afternoonish when it gets way too hot out. And I think I'm the only spetsgruppa person coming out now, the other 2 forgot to schedual the day off work. And if anyone on the soviet team is interested: I'll bring a few extra overcoats if this whole over coat thing is approved, and if your a typical scrawny little conscript like me, I'll let you wear one untill it gets too hot out (or if it rains too muddy, these are a bitch to clean).

Conscript, while I can't really speak for SFOD, I can't see these guys turning down your overcoats. They're using uniform colors as a way to identify teams, which means that if you look like the team you're supposed to be on, you're good to go. And while you may not be wearing the colors of your team, nobody is going to look at your load out and think, "Huh, I wonder if that guy's a US rebel?" You should be good to go. Plus, you'll be looking super sexy out there in your authentic gear.
Find me, though. I'll be wearing a 1980's soviet issued pistol belt (backstory for the game is I took it off one of your komrades that I iced) that saw active duty at the Berlin Wall. I figure you might be interested in that, unless you already own 3 yourself.
Ghast,
Sweet.

Take my name off the list please. School issues came up, I can't go (plus my parents basically want to kill me right now...).
