Thank you boredkender, That's what i was thinking too. The paypal would be exactly what u said, But I wasn't sure if I was right about it being safer and us not at fault. And people trust paypal more, so for us starting out, it may help us gain peoples trust. Remember, free 2nd day air on all orders is another incentive Thanks again, Please keep it coming! - Kev

If you were to use paypal I would buy from you. I've been waiting for a paypal excepted store front for a while now... my bank account is attached to there and I don't have a credit card.

Yes, Paypal would be our main payment type for the first few months, and we will then always allow it, My dad is still trying to casually talk to his attourney, but u get charged per minute talking to those people... hopefully he doesnt charge him just for a question about this... but he's trying to avoid it, and just bring it up when they are just talking, and not on the clock Thanks for letting me know ma nuts, I needed to see that people will buy from us. Now i see that!

Well, I am in the market for some new mags and a new battery, although I am sitll a month or two away from that purchase, I am already not looking forward to doing business with a companie who's represenative uses "u" and "I'm too lazy to spell a full word out. Please mock me.".

I'm terribly sorry sir, I belong to multiple airsoft forums, and I don't always have time to write everything out. I will start posting better just for you. I make a lot of posts on a lot of forums, and I hope you really don't base what store you're going to buy from, off of a representative's short hand spelling. OK, I am already not looking forward to doing business with a customer who doesn't spell "still" right. <- Sarcasm. It just doesn't work that way, for most people at least. I don't mean for this to be rude, But did you think about what you were typing before you actually posted it?

I did think about what I said before I posted, I was just simply trying to forward the point to you, and I did so on the forum in hopes of having it not happen to other people, no harm done, and no grudges.

-1 for pilcheck sorry bro, but that really coulda been taken care of in a simple pm to a4. now if someone is new here and just browsing around the retailers, they might get a bad taste for amp-air and/or its representative To those whom the above post would refer to: swat a4 is a stand-up guy that always tries to help people when he can, and has extensive knowlege to do so. He may be young, but remember, a 7year old can teach his grandpa how to use a computer i personally look forward to doing buisness with amp-air (try to get some mk1 parts going, eh? )

If you could get some used stuff on the site, like how Paintball-X does. I would browse there regularly. Though my mind is set on a $650 AUG, but I just can't find the money. I maybe posting even MORE guns up for sale .

website design is one of the major things i look at when i do buissness with a company. Usually, i stick to well known retailers.
Generally speaking, if the web site looks unproffessional then I assume the services are going to reflect this.
For instance, i have not once ordered from any site with one of those pre-made layouts that look like bs. Perhaps this is just me though.
Creating a successfull buissness is all about good service and the image you create. The "presence" of your buissness is one of the main factors determining this at first... especially on the interent.

I agree with pilcheck on this one. Infamous is right in a different sense as well, your business has to have a good image. Bad grammar and chat speak doesn't promote a good image. You've been saying lately that you don't have time to type out the full words in post, because you visit so many forums. So, you cut corners by typing "u." If you have a lot of guns lined up for repair, are you going to cut corners by not taking the time to shim the gun properly? That's the image that I get, and it's not an image that you want if you plan on making some money.
From the moment that we associate you with a business that you want to succeed, you have to start selling yourself and your business to us. You have to give me a reason to buy from you instead of my old favorite shops. A part of that may be sales on items that I'll probably want to buy (so, don't have sales on front sling swivels for PSG-1's, have sales on M4 mags or excel bbs). Another part of selling Amp Air to me is carrying yourself with a certain level of professionalism. Everything you do now reflects on your possible business, and that includes typing out "u" instead of you. It looks childish and uneducated. I've done business with a lot of different companies in airsoft as well as other things, and I've never gotten an email that said "thnx 4 I'm too lazy to spell a full word out. Please mock me. order." Locutus and Darkstar of Airsoft Arms, Francois of Combat Depot, Michel of The 6mm Shop, and even Wombat of a low end place like Airsoft Atlanta never use "u" in their posts. They know that they have to carry themselves in a professional manner, and that just doesn't cut it.

Maybe it's just people involved with graphic design.

Its must be the logic associated with companies spending millions of dollars on communication design. Even if you don't have a large budget for design there are still many other things you can do which will make you appear more professional, as knief mentioned.

Thanks Boredkender Mk1 parts... Well.. The supplier usually tries to get his hands on those, anything can be ordered from him, as long as there are some made in the factory somewhere.. He does special orders like that. Well, I do not ever see these guns personally, It's going to be wholesaled by Airsoft-X, Basically Paintball-x... And he supplies: Recon Airsoft - Farmington, CT Woodland Airsoft - Virginia Beach, VA Jester Paintball - Exeter, CA Ramrod Airsoft - Houston, TX Airsoft 4 U - Waddy, KY Billy Blackjack Knifeworks - Rawlins, WY Big J Traders - Buffalo, NY FFKG: Place to Shoot - Portland, OR Dayton Airsoft - Dayton, OH He does all the repairs, and is damned good at it, Custom painting is available... Airosft-X opened a field, and isn't doing very well, so their inventory is hurting right now, but he is going to start stocking up again, and getting a MASSIVE inventory.. his land for sale.. is worth 300k. A nice sized portion will be going into his inventory... Every gun he sells, money gets put right back into another one. The chat = Because we are an airsoft forum, and this chat... is actually to discuss something with talkairsoft, and paintball/airsoft-x... I'm still unsure as to what is going on, I didn't post that.. Airsoft retreat, and airosft forum have chats, Amp has to compete. Our retailer section will be completely different... More business like, It's already made, but not revealing it yet, because i'm not sure that we are going to open it yet. It's white background kind of "professional" look, not the dark colors like the forum look we have going on right now. I will send emails and what not to buyers who leave their emails... Personal, writted on the spot, as well as thank you letters in the box, And, I wan't to work somehting out, where people can actually contact me about their service and everything, Email is great, but not everyone has it. He has great customer service though, I use him all the time. So I'm sure there wouldn't be a problem. [edit] ALSO, We have live support on amp... (http://ampair.net/Lhelp/lh/live_request.php) [/edit] Thank you for your feedback, Wise words from everyone , I respect that. Thank you for your time. - Kevin
