Great Military surplus/equimpent site. Great selection, Plus i like how they show how much they have left of each item so you wont back order. Orders usually arrive in 3-5 days. And Some nice prices to.
I like cheaper than dirt and order from them on a regular basis, but it's not an all sun and roses relationship.
My somewhat unaffectionate name for them is "Slower than Mud" instead of cheaper than dirt, due to what I consider slow shipping. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like it always takes at least a week or more to get my orders to me. I also think the reason they can sell their stuff "cheaper than dirt" is because they make all their money on shipping and handling. Seems to me their shipping charges are far out of proportion to what it cost them to actually ship it. Pay attention to the charges stamped on the box and what you actually pay them for shipping and you'll see what I mean.
Probably the worst thing was when one of my friends ordered a batch of hi-capacity clips from them a couple years ago. It was litterally a couple months before they shipped, and when they did he got a surprise in his order. They sent him less than the amount of clips that he ordered and included a note that basically said "We're sorry but we raised our price since the time you originally placed your order. So, here's as many as you could afford with what you had pre-paid on your money order, and a refund for the balance left over." Now I don't know about you, but when I place an order, I expect to get what I pay for. Not only did he not get what he paid for, but it took way longer than he was led to believe it would in the first place. They did not tell him they were out of stock when he placed his order. We both quit ordering from them for a while. So, just keep in mind that they can stab you occasionally.
Slinger, I can really do without the combat jack re-enactments from Generation Kill. Thanks.
One thing to note about CTD, is that they can maintain those prices because they ship from various locations across the nation. They'll find the closest warehouse with your order in stock and ship it out from there. This tends to cause a delay, as Savage pointed out.
