We are never going to agree on any of this so me sitting here agruing back with someone 10 years younger then myself is pointless. Not that there is anything wrong with your age, I'm just getting too old for this crap.
I'm just going to qoute some PM's I got. I would quote chat from the MIA chat room but since, I didn't log, I wont even bother to bring that up.

Once again, I have to throw in my two cents. Caveman, you are seeming to not understand some things, you still have the blinders on you that come with being all of 18 years old. You said, and I quote, "Mr. Yong is stubborn, rude, and has a very self harming sense of pride when it come to his buisness and how he runs it (at least in the airsoft sector). We are customers in the end." Ok, let's break this statement down a little bit. Mr. Yong is stubborn. Ok, I'll buy that. Mr. Yong is also a self-made man. He made his way through whatever hardships faced him growing up in Korea, and upon overcoming said hardships he packed up his ENTIRE family and moved them to a whole new country. Think about that. Moving your entire family to a whole new country. This means that you not only have to learn the language, you need to learn the customs, the styles, everything else, all the while trying to not be taken advantage of by opportunistic people that would gladly take advantage of a new immigrant. Yong undoubtedly had to develop quite the thick skin throughout this process. Although America is a melting pot, we're still not the most accepting country in the world. How many times throughout Yong's integration into American society do you think he was called Chink, Gook, etc.? I'm sure there were a bunch of times when he had to just put his head down, grit his teeth, and figure out a way to carry on and eventually get ahead in life. Dealing with such things will leave someone quite stubborn. They learn ways to cope with their environment and manipulate said environment to suit them the best they see possible. This becomes their routine. They then do not want to stray from said routine. Refusing to stray from routine is a synonym for stubbornness. Next part: Yong is rude. Take a look in the mirror, junior. Yong's seeing a bunch of kids that come into the store and badmouth his selection, prices, whatever. He also notices that these kids come into the store, peruse his wares, waste his time, and all for what, the sale of a single bag of bb's? How much profit do you think comes from a sale for a bag of bb's? I'm willing to guess that it's less than $5. Take into account the extremely high overhead involved in running a store, and that 20 MINUTES of his time that you just wasted telling him how to improve his store was just that, a waste of time. He doesn't make any money off of you kids, and as such he regards you as little more than an annoyance. While I find Yong to be a nice guy, seeing as I've never done anything STUPID to piss him off, I still understand that he is at heart a businessman. He's been looking at things in matters of dollars and cents to feed his family for longer than any two members of AMAS have been on this Earth. Now, were I in Yong's shoes, I would've kicked John out, as well. I don't know if I would have shot off at the mouth as much as he did. Who knows, maybe I would have said more. And holy crap, John, get over yourself a bit. You got called a big-mouthed motherfucker. I'm sure you've been called worse. Continue your attitude toward Yong and you will be called worse. Eventually you'll piss off the wrong person and it'll be a lot worse. The whole thing about knowing respect has a lot of merit to it. Think about it. If you would've shut your damn mouth while in YONG'S STORE, handling YONG'S MERCHANDISE, then NOT BUYING YONG'S STUFF, or at least not buying decent amounts of it, he wouldn't have had a problem. But then you have to go and handle his stuff, bring your friends that do the same thing, then, from what I've gathered, still not buy a significant amount of gear from him, all the while talking about how you could run a better business, whatever the hell it is you said that pissed him off. This would piss off any business man. I would've been pissed. The only place that I've heard of you working at was at the hardware store. A big chain hardware store. There's a significant difference in the attitudes of people working at a chain owned and operated store as opposed to those running small, family-run businesses. Think about it. You have someone come in and fuck you around at a big business store, you lose ten grand. Oh no, you just lost .0001% of your net profit for the quarter. You have someone come in and fuck you around at a small family-owned and operated store, you lose ten grand, you don't eat. While I'm sure that Yong has better financial security than that now, I'm sure that wasn't always the case. And I'll tell you what, being backed in a corner, down to your last dollar, it's not a good feeling. And that feeling sticks with you. It makes you tight with your money, it teaches you to spend wisely, and it teaches you to keep away from people that waste your time, which in turn WASTES YOUR MONEY. Sorry for the long-winded post, but I feel that some of the posts about Yong have been unfair, and I don't feel that kdogg should be the only one sticking up for him. This post started out making me laugh. Now it makes me pissed. Learn a little respect for your elders, kids. I understand that at several points during this post I've been disrespectful, but consider this: respect is earned, not given. You are not going to earn respect by pissing off your elders, then whining when they tell you off.

I love youngs surplus. I recently bought a CA M15A4 carbine with great customer service from both yong and steve. As previously said yong is an elder he is set in his ways and I dont think he should have to defend it ,he has lived his life. I have been to youngs several times and have had a great experience every time. I highly doubt he has remained in business for so many years while speaking to customers the way you claim. Maybe there are just certain people or certain circumstances that prompt such a verbal outbreak by him. I find it hard to believe that his words were offensive, but rather defensive. This store is his livelihood. He supports his family with this store. If he felt threatened by your presence it was probably due to the fact that you are someone who could disturb his way of life. A life that he has worked years to build. I am not condoning what yong did nor am I accusing you of deception I am just stating that I do understand why he may be leary of you and his other competitors.

Why thank you =)
Also thank you for coming into Young's and buying it today. I hope you get many years of enjoyment out of the thing. Just remember to keep the barrel clean and lightly oiled and it should work flawlessly for a long time.
If there is anything else I can help you with or any question you ever have please feel free to drop by the shop, call, email or pm me here.

Wow, this was totally uncalled for bro.
Now I try to keep my vulgerness to a dull roar due to the younger kids here but frankly, this is bullsh**.
I have no problems with you personally. Yong and Paul also have no issues but come on man if you are going to trash Yong, don't leave stuff out.
A huge chunk of this story was left out. First off, the kid lives right by the shop and he has been coming here for 7 plus years and he never buys anything. I mean yeah he may have bought some dog tags or a sticker oh and one time he bought a hand cuff key. Anyway he comes in and asks to handle EVERY single AEG and gas pistol, asks 10,000 questions like which gun would be best for me blah blah... I have seriously had 1 and 2 plus hour conversations with the guy that go something like this:
*direwolf* can I see the aug? *kdogg* sure man *direwolf* I really like the famas more blah blah, a real ones chambered in X caliber blah blah such and such military uses them. *kdogg* oh, I didn't know that. I only know about the airsoft ones
You get the point and trust me, its a lot worse. I had an hour plus conversation about Resident Evil 4 one day with him too. We were not even talking about business related products. He was just shooting the shit which does take time out of our day.
I mean the kids freaking smart, he knows more about real guns and military history then I ever will but we cant drop what we are doing every time he comes in and have long drawn out conversations.
We have always been nice to him, always let him handle the guns even though we knew he never intended to buy any of them. This takes time out of our day. Sure, Yong's asked him to leave before. Like I said he has been coming in for 7 plus years doing this stuff. Sometimes Yong is just busy with a new shipment that came in and he doesn't have time to play 20 questions. I've see him ask Direwolf to leave before. He says I don't have time today, I'm very busy come back another day.
Now, let me ask you guys. If you were trying to run a business and you had this one customer who came in for over 7 years, always asked 10,000 questions what would you do?
Look bro, if you have these negative feelings about Yong or his shop, it's simple isnt it? Don't come in here. I'm not telling you that you can't but if you have this problem with us, why would you want to?

damn, we're still talking about this?
look, you have to remember that the guy is trying to run a business, so he doesnt want his one and only airsoft expert tied down answering questions and tending to one costumer for an hour and discourage any other business that might come in.
yong is uptight, yes. he can come across as an asshole a lot, yes. i have had a few incidents where i wanted to tell him to his face, but he just acts like the stereotypical korean shop owner who wants to pull every single dollar out of you. grin, and bear it. if you dont want to, or cant, just dont go there. go somewhere else, go to 21st century, go to an online store. hell, go to armory airsoft (yes, i must make its presence known) i really dont care.
its his store though, it comes down to that. if he wants you out, he doesnt even need a good reason, he can just tell you to get out. thats how it works

Damn... Talk about reanimating the dead Caveman...
I will choose not to flame anybody here....
Myself and KDogg have talked about this many a time. It's done and over. It started as nothing more than a giant mis-understanding and that what it is to this day... I regret posting this thread to begin with...
Shit happens with any business... I know this, so does Steve...
I will leave this thread at that...

Damn... Talk about reanimating the dead Caveman... Ok, numbnuts. Check the time on the post before mine( Ya know, those numbers and whatnot that let you know the suns position in the sky? I know, scary thought), and notice that it is before mine. Also, notice that the name underneith on it is not "Caveman" nor even resembles the word "Caveman", but rather looks a lot like the name "Dire Wolf".
