Well for me I don't think I can support local retailers, I am in Sault Ste. Marie, I don't think there are any retailers even close to me. As for airsplat. I have never purchased from them, and after hearing stories I never will. A team mate of mine bought a Well R6 from airsplat. He got it rather quickly, but unlike the add they had posted it didn't come with a battery. So he sent e-mails, called them multiple times. Two months later he finally got his battery. One other incident involved the same team member ordering a Well R8. He got the weapon very fast, within the same week, but what he got was defective, the gears were stripped, so the only noise that was made when pulling the trigger was a loud scream, 1 year later he still hasn't been able to get a straight answer from them.

The Well R8 is actually suprising quality from what I have seen for a cheap gun, don't buy it from airsplat though, you get nothing but junk.

Damn Airsplat! I bought the battery off of them and called them to tell them to send it to the other address that I had before and the guy told me that the box shipped out with the correct address but the tracking thing says its being shipped to the wrong address! This is the second time! Can these people get anything right!?

Why would you order from them again after they screwed up your first order? Why would you order from them after all of the bad reviews they've had just in our own section?

Belive it or not, but I have ordered three times from here and had no issues. They have pretty cheap prices. Bad for accesories but some guns are pretty cheap.

the same type of problem happened with me, i bought an a and k m4 box mag from Airsplat it arrived two weeks late, i was never informed that the item was out of stock, when i opened the package i noticed that the ac adapter inside of the magazine was broken. I mailed it back to them for a replacement. Two weeks after I sent it in the same magazine was mailed back to me stating, "their support could not identify the problem." I ended up taking the magazine apart and my dad fixed the ac adapter. I advise never buying from them. I agree with S-sytem, buying from local is much better.

I bought my UTG L96 over 2 years ago from Airsplat, other upgrades and, external parts. And I haven't had any problems, although, I do not like their shipping fees. Just from hearing your stories I think I'll stay with my local Retailers from now on. I am not interested in becoming the next guy to get a crappy deal or just get plain screwed over.

You are aware that "they're" is a contraction of They Are. So what you said (They are fees are too high for shipping) makes absolutely no sense. www.better-english.com/easier/theyre.htmPlease score 100% on that quiz before posting again.
