After reading many negative comments on 21st own forum, as well as here and elsewhere I had trepidation doing business with this company.
I called ahead and spoke to Dan Smith to confirm that the CA M15SPC was in stock. He said yes. I was still skeptical so I exchanged two emails and another phonecall with Dan to make sure then placed the online order.
One week later I hear nothing from 21st so I send an email asking Dan the status. He says that he's waiting on the battery for my gun and he would send it out Wednesday of that week "at the latest". Wednesday rolls by I send two more emails to Dan which are ignored. I call Saturday
and a female answers the phone. She is very polite and professional and I apprise her of the situation. She says that the guns may still be in customs and that they dont do a lot of "civilian work anymore". She says she is surprised that Dan said the gun was in stock.
If Dan were honest with me up front and said the batterys were out of stock(doubt this is true) or even just said there is a lead time on the guns and I would have to wait X weeks , I would have gladly waited happy in the fact to support a local business. Note their lack of communications, each time I had to initiate calls/emails just to find out what was going on.
As it was, because of their questionable ethics and poor customer service I had to call Paypal and my Bank to stop payment on the order
This is the one time that I regret not believing negative hype
