it is a free template but it's not cool to have your site look like another that is one of a few in the same state and selling similar items.

it doesnt take away from your site bill, but yeah, they should do something even a little different

i think the website design ultimatly makes a buissness look better, then one with out a good site design. Like say jungletoy vs. CombatDepeot ??- combatdepot has a much better site design. I think sites that look the same come off not as good in a buissness sense, then ones that are designed more proffessional looking. A good web design does make the difference. Because most people whom order, like out of state only have the design to go on. When they see a well designed webpage, and such it really reflects ona buissness as being better, then say one with a very bad design. Just a thought. - Get creative, i hate templates -

That's the problem with free templates, they're guaranteed to not be unique to you.

Don't go claiming plagarism (?) I bought that templete last year (I think it cost like $120 from e-commerce), well before you updated your site. I posted it to the web on the 9th of November... Well before you purchased WTS and changed your look... so lets not start flaming and casting unfounded allegations on others. If you have any complaints, please IM me and keep it out of the public forums.
I'm sorry if the websites are similar... I'll do my best to remedy that situation. As should you.... If you would like, I'll get my CC reciept and IM you the exact date of purchase. The store was no where near open when I started working on the webite.
As for the pictures... don't worry about that.. I have my own pics that I took in Iraq to post....

Well I welcome another airsoft retailer which is nothing against Bill, it's just the nature that if we can support two retailers then the sport is growing suficiently. And in reality all buisness is about competition, so here we are with 2 retailers once again rather than 1. Either way it won't change the way I do buisness nor effect me though I do congradulate you guys for getting something rolling.
As far as the template really I don't think it's of any concequence. Take a look at yahoo stores which mostly use the same template then also look at how many sell the same products. There aren't enough airsoft stores in Michigan to confuse the average person, nor will they likely go to either site in error thinking it's the other so I guess it's an effective layout for Bill or blackmesa and I guess thats all of my opinion on the topic.
Good luck to you guys and lets help keep airsoft in a positive light.
Luke

I do know that each store does want it's own personal image... In time, I think we can accomplish that!!
and you are right Luke... Airsoft is growing and I think that the state can support 2 retailers. We didn't want to sell paintball, but you have to retail what the customer wants. I did enough market research up here to realize that most people wanted more choices in this area. The local paintball shop is overpriced and that played in our decision making process!!

it's sad to see one buisness arguing over a template? who cares. buisness' backbone are how they handle the customer, not flashy looks. And anyway. What about google.com (i know its not a store) but its one of the most productive websites out there, and all it is half a page, with a white backround. sad to see some buisnesses get mad at competition?

I HATE TEMPLATES Site design reflects on a buissnes's appaerence,as a whole. Its the only way to judge, unless you have bought thier before or read massive reviews. For instance, JungleToy i hate thier site dsign, HATE it. It just looks so unprofessional, not the way a buisness wants to appear to the public. That my opinion though.

I haven't heard of any orders etc yet, though they are more than reputable in the community so I wouldn't hessitate due to lack of reviews. DevilDog has been around for quite some time and is well respected, give it a go and make sure to post back your experience in the appropriate forum.

my friend has ordered a gun and im in the process of doing a trade in (just waiting for the gun to be shipped from Japan to his store) and 3 of my other friends are ordering from them as well. I also went up to the store and met Paul (DevilDog) in person, and he is a great guy. Also his prices are INSANELY low too "for the love of the sport )
