In the PAVN and Viet Cong, the sappers were special operations soldiers who used infiltration, sabotage, and ambush to attack enemy forces. Not just suicide runners. There are many Military organizations that use sapper units. Its specific meaning is: (From Britannica)www.answers.com/topic/sapper

Brief Update: Coca-Cola Products and Dasani bottled water will be provided for $0.50 each for a limited time during the event. Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Root Beer, and Dasani Bottled Water. Again, I stress that quantities are limited. After the set amount of discount drinks are gone. Beverages will revert to the standard $1.00 per can/bottled. All other drinks are not effected.

MTASC Barring any unforseen circumstances, showing up for MTASC will be : Talisman Stinky Jumprefusal Major Gypsy DevilDog Twitch H.G.S (recruit) Please keep in mind these are all "penciled in" - this list is subject addition/subtractions as situations come up. We will all be USMC, and we'll figure out special roles in the future - we will supply our own medics and FAC. We've got questions, however - Flares, what's allowed? You're aware they are a fire hazard, are you setup to handle that? Do we have a limit on what types of flares we can use? Do they have to be gun-fired, or can they be self-propelled? Goggles - what's allowed? You state full-seal, are mesh goggles going to be allowed? I apologize in advance if this is covered elsewhere. Everyone that's not a marine, y'all might as well stay home. Trust me. **EDIT** Tali is an idiot, got teammates mixed up. Change Cowboy to Gypsy =p

How about some kick ass fireworks, like in "Full Metal Jacket". Light up the sky, and a great distraction Then BOOM!!!

Since I'm entirely too lazy to scoll through 7 pages of thread, I'll just ask anyways. Rules on projectiles? I want to use that Bazooka I won at Takedown, it fires nerf rockets by means of standard 203 shells. Sumbudy gunna Dye!

The prefered type of flare would be a gun fired parachute flare. You'll have to PM Canto about specifics Talisman. Its strongly recommended that you do not use mesh goggles. Considering the possible close engagement ranges, it could be a safety hazard to the user. We would prefer full seal plastic / plexy goggles. Jump, if you can aim well with that rocket be my guest. But because it will be dark for the majority of the game, you'll have to directly hit a player to kill one. Its gonna be fun trying to pick up those foam rockets again
