Well, after much researching and calculating (and saving of money), I've decided that I'm going to purchase my first airsoft gun this week. I've narrowed down the two cheapest (I think) retailers to buy from and they are a tough choice to choose from. I'm going to get a Tokyo Mauri M4A1 RIS rifle, with just the basics, battery, charger, maybe an extra clip or two. UNCompany has a package deal with the gun, battery, and charger for $299. DENTrinity has the gun, battery, and extra high cap mag in a package deal for $350 and this also includes the shipping for free. Although, they don't have the charger in that package, which is no less than $50 I have found on their site Now, I really can't figure out which one would be cheaper, as I don't know the exact shipping for UNCompany, and I have never bought from overseas before, so I was wondering if any of you guys or girls could add in some advice or input to my decision. I'm really at a stalemate here as to which site I should order from. Basically, I think it boils down to which site has a better reputation, as I can't distinguish which is cheaper Any help would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks

well I have never shopped with Den before. But Uncompany got my gun to me in like 3-4 days. Their shipping price is not bad for a HK retailer. They use TNT shipping so your gun will not get stuck in customs if you have to pay for it. TNT will just bill you for it.
I have also heard Den has had guns seized entering the U.S, yet i have never heard of such a thing from Uncompany.

Both UN Co. and Den have had guns seized.
I prefer UN Company...they speak better english, reply more promptly, and offer better all-around service.

And UNcompany's putty is easy as hell to take off, which is awsome.

UNC completely destroyed my friends APS2. They also screwed up todd's gun ($2000+). Also a few other people. Seems like they would care at least a little bit about a customer who is spending 2000 dollars on something, but they just suck. Im sure they are going to lose a few customers with that horrible treatment. As long as they have their money, they dont give one shit about it. I dont know about den's customer service, but i have never heard of an order they screwed up. I would suggest ordering from 21st Century Airsoft, Bill knows how to treat his customers. The price may be a bit more, but i would rather pay a bit more and have my gun in my hands then pay a little less and end up with some broken shit. Plus shipping is going to be a lot less and it doesnt have to go through customs.

Well I'd like to order from 21st Century, but the gun I want isn't in stock, infact it doesnt look like any of their TM guns are, hmm... Well I sent in my request for an order at UN Company, but didnt get a confirmation email yet (and that was a coupla days ago, so... not too sure about that. Might just find a place here in the states to order from instead, less shipping and no customs=good

Make sure you contact 21stCA by email or phone to check for sure, as I don't believe the site currently reflects their stock of guns correctly. In other words they may have it in stock so it's worth contacting them.

Maybe I'm wrong since I haven't spent that much time on RR, though I've never seen them sell anything. I've seen them sell just like MIA sells through a commerce section which doesn't seem to be the way he's looking to go. If I'm incorrect please link me to an area where they sell their own gear;) (side note, can anyone confirm they are in Hawaii? I don't recall reading that).
Personally I would stick with a local dealer for your first gun, since they can follow through after the sale and help you with issues. Most begginers at airsoft will need that type of support.
